My 75 pound dog tugs on the leash and this has helped significantly. I do not want to use the prong collar long term, but it works until we can start her training. I like the rubber stoppers because they are a little less aggressive.

Game changer for our walks. I thought I’d have to hire someone to train my dog, or just accept that walks will be miserable until she’s an old lady. I was wrong! I also appreciate the rubber things that go on the prongs.

When it works it works. But I struggle to get the right fit. This is the first prong collar I’ve used so they may all be like this but it’s only sized by taking out or adding links. My dog seems to be in between 2 sizes where one is too tight and the other allows the collar to slip too far down. It’s otherwise great I like that it comes with the rubber ends to make it less painful for the dog. Just wish it had an extra piece to further adjust the size.

I've resisted buying a collar like this because I thought it would pinch/hurt my dogs. Because of the rubbery plastic caps on the prongs, it does NOT hurt them unless you jerk hard, quickly (I found this out when my dog suddenly leaped ahead to try to chase a squirrel). This collar has made a HUGE difference in being able to better control my big, energetic puppy-dog; the "choke chain" type of collar did nothing to slow my dog down. I highly recommend this collar if you have any pulling problems with your dog. It very durable, and easy to put on, and take off of your dog.

Best No Pull Dog Collar. I have a 2 yr old 45 lb lab Sheppard mix. He's a great dog but on a leash if he sees something more interesting than me (squirrel, rabbits, deer, leaves blowing) he's impossible to stop pulling. I tried treats and redirection, I tried just stopping the walk to he sees pulling won't get him anywhere faster. I tried two different Martindale collars with limited success. I tried a No Pull Harness where the leash attached to the chest rather than the back. Limited success. My son has the same collar for his dog. It looks medieval but it doesn't really hurt the dog, he or she just won't pull cause it's not comfortable. Some have said these typyof collars are inhumane. But the collar rash my dog was getting from the other collars was pretty bad. He's a puller but no more with this collar. I went from holding the leash with both hands to holding the leash with two fingers.
