I got the Supershieldz Anti-Glare (Matte) Screen Protectors because I wanted a matte screen on my MacBook Air, which Apple doesn’t offer as an option. These protectors work perfectly! The matte finish reduces glare and reflections while maintaining sharpness and clarity of the display. The 3-pack is a huge bonus — it gives peace of mind in case of application mistakes or future replacements. Installation was straightforward, and the protectors fit my MacBook Air 15" (M4/M3/M2, 2023–2025) perfectly. I've used this brand a few times before for tablets that were going in my car. It's a very nice matte appearance that fits about perfect on an M4 15" Macbook Air (all of the 15" Air's have the same screen size for protectors). It does have a cutout for the camera and is thinner than the rubber bezels of the screen so it doesn't impact closing the lid at all. If you told me the screen was this type of matte finish from the factory I'd probably believe it. It is really pretty mild and doesn't impact the readability of the screen very much but it helps a ton with making the screen less like a mirror. I didn't have any trouble with the installation: wipe the whole screen down, buff it clear with microfiber, then apply strips of blue painter's tape to the whole thing to keep dust off until you're ready to put on the protector. Start with the side edge, make sure it's straight and tight to the edge, and swipe back and forth sticking it down while peeling the liner back as you go. This type of screen protector (large films) will not work well if you try to slam it down and squeegee out bubbles later, you have to roll it on free of air bubbles.

Easy to install and the matte finish looks "clean". The only question is how long it will last and how well it will hold up against any possible splashes or post-cleaning. First important thing to know is that this item comes with all that you will need to prep your monitor and make sure that installation is done correctly. It has alcohol wipes to remove any residue on your screen, stickers to pickup any dust, lint or other particles, and the microfiber cloth for a final wipe down before application. Use the guide stickers to line up the film straight against the screen. I was tempted not to use it, but decided not to skip the step because in the past, putting the film on crooked and then having to reposition it over and over again (sometimes even having to restart and throw away a good film because I ruined it), honestly was one of the biggest pain points for me. And that frustration shouldn't be a barrier to taking care of an expensive monitor. After installation and several tries to remove the bubbles, they were just not going away. But that is okay because I honestly have never seen a screen protector be flawless. One of the bubbles, however, looks like it cannot be squeezed out despite it being on the very edge of the film because I think the spot is "bent"/ not flattening. That could be a defect from the factory, but that could also be user-error. I did not want to start over and use the other film (2-pack) just for that, so for now it will stay there. It's not noticeable when I'm using my laptop anyway.

Applying these just isn't user friendly. I cannot make these apply flat without creases to such a large screen compared to a phone or something smaller. These feel like awful designs, I just can't figure it out, and as a consumer I usually don't have an issue with instructions but this just feels like there's a better way. I hate this product and would never buy it again. Tutorials don't seem to help much.
