It has a little more bluish than the gray I expected but it still looks nice with the granite on my sink. Just put it in this morning, so too early to rate stain resistance and or easy to clean. Update...I've been using it about the last 2 weeks now. 2 comments: They wrap the rug soooo tight to send it, I still haven't gotten it to lay flat. It still wants to rise up and roll at the ends. Also, while I like the size and pattern, it's NOT very thick so doesn't really have enough weight to want to lay flat and it's not very soft to walk on. Using it in front of the sliding glass door. The dog bowls are there to one side and he likes to lay there and watch us in the kitchen. We knew the rug would get lots of traffic and get dirty, so we didn't want to spend a lot. The colors and pattern are good for hiding dirt. It's easy to vacuum and clean with solution and a rag. It is a bit stiff when you get it and probably won't lay flat. I just sprayed the back with a little water, rolled it in the opposite direction for a while. Then laid it out with rug gripper, put some heavy books and whatnot on it to smooth it out overnight. After a few months it still puckers a tiny bit little in places where we aren't walking on it, but I don't really care. It's not that obvious. It's serving its purpose. I would probably buy it again. ... show more

I would venture to guess you need a grip underneath it but we put it under our bed so it is not slippery for us. One corner does curl and pose a tripping hazard but some double sided tape should work
