Bolted item on my trailer and plugged it in...no power...!? Thought maybe the truck needed to be on...nope! Still didnt function. Once I ripped the whole thing apart, I was able to locate poorly fasten connectors with a sad attempt to apply heat shrink with uncrimped wire connectors. After completely re-wiring the hole unit, I was able to get it to function. If you have the ability to fix "brand new" products, you can purchase. Other issue is that it takes like three days for this thing to jack...very slow moving! If you got time to jack, get this item!

So far (one year) it's been great. But I discovered that the manual crank can't be used - the access hole in the casing does not line up with the internal mechanism. If I ever need the manual crank, and it's imperative I do so, I'll have to break the casing in order to get the crank attached.

I've had this jack installed for a little over a month now. It lifts my 14 foot enclosed trailer fine. Easy install. Hooks right to my 2019 ram 1500 for power.

I purchased this jack and it blows the fuse in my truck if you run it all the way up or all the way down. If this was the $80 competitor I would understand but its pretty ridiculous I need to carry a bunch if 30 amp fuses in my truck incase someone raises the jack to high. I didn't even reach the "stop here" sticker by 1/4" For the price point it should have a limit switch built in. When I first bolted it to my truck I pushed the down button thinking the jack would extend its foot to the ground but it instantly blew the fuse because it was raised all the way up and down means the trailer goes down. Kind of a stupid design in my opinion. I do like the light and the quality of the product but It's not where it needs to be for the price especially because it's entire purpose is to offer approximately 45 seconds of convenience yet you need to go to the supply house and drop $40 on fuses to keep it working. I'm going to spend the $65 on a re-setable fuse just so I don't get stuck somewhere I can't get my trailer off or on the truck.
