I spent a fortune on the case at the Apple Store when I bought my MacBook. It was weird looking with a texture that took away from how sleek it looked without a case, and it was cracking away in bits within a few months even though I’m careful with my laptop. Eventually the whole top was missing huge pieces and I had to take it off. I found this case and love that it’s the starlight finish. I swear you can barely tell there’s anything covering it. It snapped on very easily and fits perfectly. I hope it lasts longer than the apple one! But it looks amazing and wasn’t expensive so if I have to buy a replacement it’s not a big deal. I really just want to protect it from scratches and dings - I’m not expecting protection if I drop it or anything major. It’s pretty obvious that’s not what this case is designed for. It’s great for keeping my computer looking brand new - without looking ugly in the process! If you want a case for drop protection, get an ugly otter box. But don’t believe the apple dudes who try and sell you their in store cases. They’re stupid expensive, ugly, and useless.

The media could not be loaded. This Mac plastic case feels sturdy and well-built. It provides solid protection while maintaining a sleek look. The fit is snug, and the material has a good, durable feel. Pretty inexpensive even tho it feels like a luxury case.

Fits great, looks great, took 30 seconds to install, but the edges of the shell had sharp burrs I didn't notice in my haste to get it on my air. I had to remove it and smooth out the burrs with a 4 in 1 nail buffer. (It's harder to take off than put on).

The fit is good -- leaves very little (if any at all) of a gap between the lid and bottom. This was my biggest concern so I took a microsope and flashlight to examine the gap with and without the case. As far as I could tell, there was NO noticeable difference which speaks to the pinpoint accuracy of the molding. As for thermals, I couldn't see any difference with case and caseless however I've only tested it a little bit. My biggest issue: this case while beautiful, is VERY fingerprint prone. Almost as much as the original machine (I have a midnight color). Despite this, the fitting of the case is so accurate and light that I don't have to worry about the concerns alot of people have regarding hardshell cases -- I do not see this warping the screen at all and it preserves that midnight finish while preventing scratches. Overall, good case and good fit yet finger prone heavy. I will be keeping this.

I just bought a new MacBook Air to replace my 2018 model. When I purchased my 2018 model, I also purchased a sleeve/cover from Apple which I never really used because it was inconvenient and didn’t seem all that useful. I saw that the Soonjet case had great reviews on Amazon and decided to give it a try. When I first unboxed it, it looked flimsy and my immediate thought was that I needed to return it. However, once I put it on I was very impressed. I have the silver MacBook Air and the Matte Clear case makes it look like you don’t have a cover on at all. The case is sturdy, not slippery and isn't full of fingerprints like when not using a case. I highly recommend it.
