The gears on my lippert jack got destroyed (didn't have the jack up high enough when backing out) a few days before we left for a camping trip. In panic mode, i tried to look for a well reviewed replacement that would arrive in time to swap it. The lippert was available (had the best reviews also) but if the shipping time was delayed then i'd be sunk. This one was going to arrive the next day, so i figured i'd give it a shot. Installation went really easily but with a few quirks. Firstly, as others mentioned, i needed to install it 90deg rotated so that it would clear my propane tank covers. Not the end of the world, and ultimately a plus.....my tundra's tailgate wouldn't go all the way down because it would hit the lippert jack, now it clears it. Secondly, there is no ground wire. This seems very odd to me....they use the connection to the frame to be the ground. Sure, it should work....but i didn't like it. I ended up pulling the case off, and ended up finding where the ground point (to the motor case) was and just put a ring terminal on the OEM wiring for the trailer and just connected it, i did the same with the power wire (to the fuse/isolator block at the base). Also as others mentioned, this it a little slower than the lippert. I think that the manufacturer thought of that, because the jack extension piece is REALLY LONG. I actually found that i like it this way. You pull the pin on the extension, let it drop down, set the pin and a few seconds later you're already lifting the trailer. So ultimately its faster, but if you have bad knees/back i'd think you'd rather not have to bend down....YMMV I've only used it for one trip, so cant comment on longevity, but if it has a quick death, i'll update the review.

It was easy to put on the trailer, so far it's good. I've been wanting to put this on for quite some time, something to make it easier for me to lift my trailer. I'm so glad that there's no more struggling to lift it up, now on to buying another item for the trailer.

The media could not be loaded. Got mine installed today and it's packaged well the box showed up beat up but the jack was fine. It seems like a decent quality unit. I wired mine to a ryobi battery and it works fantastic! You'll want to make sure you grind the ground spot a little more that's it!

I bought one of these and it worked intermittently; I contacted Amazon and they shipped me a new one and I returned the bad one. The second jack also worked intermittently. I replaced the power wire in case it had a partial break and checked the voltage, it was fine, ran a heavy duty ground wire to be sure I was getting good contact. I contacted the mfg and the rep suggested I use the manual crank to just turn the jack a bit and try the button again. That did work and 80% of the time I had to use the crank to get it to start. We went on a 6700 mile trip and it continued to not work as expected. Now we are home and its past the 30 day return window, so I will just buy another replacement. The rep had told me they had this problem on other customers jacks. Do not recommend.

The Kohree Electric Trailer Jack has been very satisfactory. Installation was easy as the mounting slots were able to match the existing bolt holes while the jack was properly aligned forwards. The single power wire was plenty long enough to hook to trailer battery. Be sure to clean any paint or rust where the mounting ring meets the trailer frame; this is the ground connection for the circuit. The Kohree jack is efficient. I have a medium duty battery mounted to the trailer and using the jack 7 times in the winter only took 9% of battery capacity. The jack is powerful; lifting an Expedition at hookup high enough that connecting the torsion bars on a weight distributing hitch could be done one handed. Very pleased with this purchase.
