This is my third electric wheelchair. My first two were Prides. A replacement battery for the latest Pride would have cost$800 so I figured a new GoRide at $1100 was a better deal. And it would have been, except for some serious deficiencies. The operating manual did not tell me how to use the second battery. I called the company, and a recording told me that if I bought the item from Amazon in the last 30 days, to call Amazon. I did, and all Amazon could do was quote from the same operating manual. Bad customer support The battery life is very short. Another problem is the design of the footrests. They don't retract so you can't get close to a table. They can be removed. At slow speeds, the joystick doesn’t control the chair well, particularly if the speed setting is high. ... show more

Purchased for my 83 year old dad who had a stroke. He loves the design, color, and comfort. The cushion velcros onto the chair and we were pleasantly surprised by the back cushion! Very comfy. We like that the feet stirups are attached but are not a fan of the back strap that holds the two feet stirups together. My dad is still getting the hang of it as the joy stick can be sensitive. The POWER! of this chair is crazy. You MUST attached the small wheels to the back or you will tip over!!! The batteries are easy to remove and charge. ... show more
