The media could not be loaded. I bought this to replace my old 1hp superflo Pump/motor. I'd already replaced the motor 1 time previously. This new model appears to have the exact same pump design. All fittings are in the exact same locations..made changing pumps a simple task. The new motor is physically smaller and fan cooled. Quieter too! The electrical connections are all on top now. A much better and easier design than the old one which had all the connections on the back of the motor. I highly recommend this pump. ... show more

I bought this Pentair Superflo High Performance pump 2 years ago (early May 2022). It was pretty easy to install and worked great for 2 summers. I hooked it up yesterday and started working fine (I take everything in for the winter as we live in the northeast). A few hours later, I noticed nothing was working. I confirmed power was getting to the pump. Then I opened up the cover and noticed in attached picture, the top left has 3 wires. One of them is burned up and disconnected from where it should be. Not sure what happened, but I checked online and I can't see to find replacement part - I think I have to buy a whole new pump! 2 year warranty expired last week. ... show more

Had prior 3/4 HP discontinued model 348022 for 11 years and jit ust started making noise. This new version popped right in place, using exact same fittings. Had it installed before Alexa stated "Your Package Has Arrived". Seems a little louder than old version (before bearing noise), perhaps just the fan they now use? With 13,000 gallon pool limited with 1.5" pipes, only needed 3/4HP, but sadly, California codes that affect all of the USA, made that model extinct. Still, prior version only cost around $1 a day in electricity, with year round Florida use, so not really worth it to go variable speed and additional electronics that could fail. ... show more
