Really easy to fit. One of my 11 inch rims fitted on with the new brake but the other one didn't fit. I had two different after market rims. Had to change to 12 inch rims which I was expecting.   • OK kit but could have been a great kit
Kit was easy enough to install and will probably give decent service. Considering the price of the kit a few modifications would make the kit equal to a factory installation. The wheel bolts extend through the brake rotor-spacers-wheel hub- aluminum spacer and wheel. The addition of a locking device would prevent the bolts from losening when changing wheels. The locking device could have tabs that are bent to lock the bolt head. A better design would be to counterbore the spacer and put the nuts on the brake rotor side and install wheel bolt studs in the spacer. This would shorten the unsupported length of the wheel bolts and preventing wheel movement that could cause catastrophic wheel loss. The aluminum spacer fits over a lip on the hub to prevent wheel movement but the aluminum spacer does not have the lip to prevent wheel movement. Once again this could cause catastrophic wheel loss if the vehicle is used under anything other than very light conditions. I am surprised wheel loss has not been reported as an issue. The mounting bracket which holds the caliper does not line the pads parallel to the rotor. This will cause excessive pad wear and reduced braking torque. The brackets are stamped out rather than being machined. A stamping could work but would require more precision than small presses can deliver. If this is used for anything other than ideal conditions I would be concerned. It would cost less than $50.00 to eliminate the issues and to make this kit an excellent bargain while keeping manufacturing cost under $100.00 . ... show more

This is by far the best addition you can put on your Atv going from drum brakes to this is like having a new 4 wheeler. Instructions are not the best so just search videos for this and they go on good. Best of all is you will have stopping power, great feel once they get broken in , never have grabbed or done anything but work . Should have been done by the factory!!   • Stops good. Minor fit issues.
Overall I am happy with this kit. I have a few issues with it though. It came with two different length lug studs. You can see in the pictures that the head of the bolt is different also like they mak be two different brands and lengths. The right side doesn't protrude the lugnut as it should. Super atv is supposed to be sending me the correct studs. The bracket and hardware to move the brake line up off of the tie rod is kind of a cheezy set up n ultra cheap nut and bolt and a flat piece of steel. It could easily be pushed down by a stick or something and cause a rubbing issue. Overall though its a good set up and it stops far better than the factory set up. Also super atv doesn't provide paper instructions but a pdf is available on their website. They should also consider providing some info on replacement pads and rotors from what I can tell the pad is an artic cat piece and im not sure on the rotor or caliper. ... show more

  • 1997 trx 400 forman you need 2" + 1/4" wheel spacers to offset wheels for the calipers
The media could not be loaded. 1997 TRX400FWV HONDA. Needed to add 2-1/4" spacers for caliper standoff for stock 11"wheels. They work great 👍 👌. Way better than stock drums. Totally worth the price!
