I ordered five of these chairs for an office environment. They weren't terribly difficult to put together, but it is easier if you have more than one person. As other reviewers said, don't expect these to be perfectly square. Of the five I ordered, there's only one that doesn't have visible issues with being askew. I don't expect the clients in our office to look closely enough to care. One issue with one of the chairs is that it did not have the expected pre-drilled holes with the bolt receptacles on the bottom of the seat. I contacted the seller and sent them some pictures, and they sent a replacement chair (that I still haven't set up). The chairs are plenty big and sturdy. I weigh much more than I should but sitting in the chairs didn't feel too tight and they didn't feel at risk of tipping or breaking, even when I wiggled around. I was hoping that they would be more comfortable than they are. If I were going to be sitting in them for hours every day, I would want something more comfortable. But they're good enough for client meetings which are typically less than an hour and not frequent during the day. For the price, I can't be too upset with these chairs and I do appreciate the seller's quick response to replace the one defective piece I received. ... show more

This is a really nice chair. I bought 2 to use when I come home from hospital after hip surgery. After that I am giving them to my daughter for her vice principal school office. They're very comfortable too. Really great price.

This is the only review on Amazon I have ever written. Right out of the box, the chemical smell was obnoxious, and all the baking soda, vinegar, and other cleaning products would not get rid of the smell. I live in NYC there is no place for me to "air out" this chair. It is the middle of a pandemic...the last thing I needed was to have to worry about toxic fumes in my home. Also, there was no way to return the chair, as, again, pandemic....as well as needing to vacate this chair from my apartment asap. I threw out the chair hours ago, and the smell is lingering. The chair was very comfortable, but absolutely not worth the risk of off gassing, which is an extreme health risk. I am going to contact the seller, as well as Amazon, but I'm sure they will tell me I needed to send it back. However, I needed to get this out of my apartment as quickly as possible for safety reasons. ... show more

Purchased this chair to use in my dressing room. It looks ok and is very sturdy. Assembly was fairly easy, one person should be able to do it in 15 minutes. The seat bottom cushion is not very comfortable, that's one of the cons. It could definiely use some more padding. Therefore, I would not recommend this as a chair if you intend to sit in it all day. The reason I gave it 2 stars was due to a QC issue. The threaded screws on the vertical seat back were not drilled correctly making the seat back crooked. See photo, the seat back tilts from left to right. Too bad a simple QC test would of avoided me wasting my time assembling this defective chair. I have contacted the manufacturer in hopes I could get a replacemt parts. I would rather not return it since it's already been assembled. Edit: The manufacturer didn't have replacement parts and offered me a few bucks off the price if kept it. ... show more

The chairs came together okay but they aren't that sturdy. They look nice and should last a little while but not expecting much out of them. I also didn't get three bolts and had to find some at the hardware store that worked.
