I mostly got this case because I was looking to get a better grip on my Steam Deck. This adds a bit more bulk to the rear grips but I noticed a much better feel to the lower corners where your palms rest as the case squares it off more there so your hands don't feel like they're slipping downward. Fit and finish is good and while I have not dropped my deck this seems like it would cushion the impact pretty well. It does make the system a little more bulky but it can still be stored in the factory case if you're mindful of how you close it and zip it up. ... show more

I use the UB on my iPad so know what good protection they provide after dropping it with no damage a few times. For the deck the right and left top corner bumpers are not covered, but the the sides underneath the corners are so if you dropped it on the side it should be ok since the sides are thicker then the corners and would take the impact. You would have to drop it directly on the corners to have damage. No don't ask me to test it.....The UB is nice looking, all cutouts are correct and it fits in the SD case that came with the deck. It is a little tight but not bad. I like the sturdy feel of it in my hands and the fact they add buttons on top to provide responsive button pushes. I have the green one and added green touch covers which completes my personalization need. ... show more

Great case for the SteamDeck with a bit of a drawback. It feels great in the hand and is protective. However, it fits too snug for my liking in the provided case. You'll need to buy a roomier carry case for this.

Wanted to protect my console from unexpected drops. This product offers great coverage and protection. It adds a little bulk and weight, but IMO it doesn’t negatively affect your gaming experience. I have this case for my ipad. So when i saw this for the steam deck I ordered it and one for my phone. This case for the steam deck os amazing. Fits in your hands. Still fits in the case (a little bit awkward but still fits) and its on good and protects it. I really recommend this case 1000%
