A little less thick than probably the best known case for iPhone protection; but still very durable, quite protective and a great value in my opinion, as it also has the belt - clip. I have had several of these for different phones, iPad and MacBooks. Love the product. Don't know what I would do, if they were to stop making / selling these. I have been able to keep several iPhones in pristine condition, buying the case and putting it on with first use; plus doing one small trick. (see below) Two small negatives: - the built in screen protector does have tiny little dots throughout, doesn't effect it in any way really, usually invisible when using the phone straight on, but noticeable at an angle when the phone is off. - the little built in stand does create several openings for dust, grit, sand, salty water ... to get between the case and the phone. Ideally they have the case a tick thicker and that covered from the factory. As somebody who does a lot of landscaping, construction and DIY type stuff; I don't want a repeat of what happened when I had a rugged case on my watch ( trapped salt water and sand ate the coating and dimpled the aluminum finish ) ... so: >> I place a section of packing tape over the inside of the case where the gaps are for that little foot to slide in and out. I have tried many cases, including the Otterbox, but this manufacture has designed the things I look for on my phone: 1. Screen cover - I do not like the concept of attaching a film or glass on my screen. This cover does as design, allow me to use my phone but protect it from scratches and other factors. Sometimes I use my fingernails or some material, electrical tape, makes contact on the screen and sticks. With their cover, I do not have to worry about it. 2. Back casing - The wrap around and securing the protector makes installation and removal easy. I get better sound quality from this case than others because of the hollow design to allow sound to travel better from the case to the air. Other cases would make sound from my speakers muffled, even at high volume. The grip and raised sections help indicate which button I am touching without having to look at phone to determine orientation. 3. Kick-stand - This was a new feature from previous versions that I had and works perfectly without having to compromise with the back feel of the phone which allows it to lie flat whereas attachments like rings makes it unleveled. The stand also acts as a ring, so to speak, to allow me to have a better hold on my phone. 4. Power connector - the rubber cover makes removal easier cause plastic has broken frequently on other cases I had. Also, there is enough room to attach ANY size connector. Other cases I had made me choose a specific connector to match its size, especially on occasions where I have forgotten my connector for charging. 5. Compatibility - I have had an iPhone 4, 7 and 13 Max, this manufacturer has been consistent with their design for each phone. I always find cases that I like but they do not have one compatible for my phone, so I end up getting a different brand but never to my liking. SUPCASE has been able to design a case I like and make it for every phone I have ever purchased. 6. Durability - I have dropped my phone multiple times, exposed to rough elements, yet it still continues to keep my phone safe. Throughout all my phone purchases, I have only replaced the case at least once when I had an iPhone 4. Other than that, I have only gotten one case for the iPhone 7 and 13. I have kept them for at least 3-4 years and the SUPCASE has lasted for at least 3-4 years between each phone transition. All in all, this is my favorite phone case. I would like to see a protector be designed to protect the camera lenses from this manufacturer, but I got this case shortly after my latest phone, so it was probably not designed or in process. ... show more

This is the second Unicorn Beetle case I've owned. I do sandblasting for a living and even when I don't have my phone on me while I'm working, it still comes into tons of tiny sand particles. Immediately, I noticed that some particles will creep around the plastic screen cover and between the cover and the screen. My advice is to actually push the clear plastic screen protector out of the case and install a proper durable screen protector directly to your phone. The case itself is great. It's comfortable, durable, and easy to take apart. The screen protector just doesn't hold up. I buy the case for the case quality itself and not specifically for the screen protector anyways. With that considered, the case is fantastic, especially for the money - just don't expect it to be a good screen protector. I dropped this thing directly into a metal radiator fan in an engine bay where it took a direct hit from the blades and fell to the ground. My phone was just fine, there's barely even a nick on the rubber edge. ... show more

Durable case! Love the kickstand and the adjustable holster. I have been super rough on this for a few months now with just a few scratches on the back painted part. Kickstand is a little hard to push back in though. Touch screen works great even with gloves and in the cold. 5/5 recommended
