Case is awesome but I feel like an idiot. I have had Defender cases for multiple Galaxy phones in the past and knew they separated into pieces to apply to the phone but when the case for my S24 Ultra arrived, it appeared to be all one unit. I tried to push my phone in and it was impossible so I returned it for a replacement, thinking my case was defective. When the replacement had the same problem, I realized I was doing something wrong and (moment of clarity) googled how to put the phone into the case. The system was the same as in the past, only better, and it fit perfectly. I hope I didn't stress my phone too much while trying to jam it into the case without taking the pieces apart and applying them properly. When I had issues with my first attempt, I tore open the box and looked for instructions on the inside but didn't see any. (If they were there, I missed them.) I think Otterbox should include a QR code on the box to guide people to a video on how to apply the case to the phone for people like me who are too dense to figure it out despite years of prior experience. I feel bad that I returned my first case and hope this review helps others to avoid the stupid mistake I made. I love this case (I love that it's bulky and can protect the camera lenses and keep them clean) and am so glad I figured it out. So far, my phone seems to have not been affected by the stress I put on it while trying to force it into the case while it was all connected as one unit. This case is very tough I left my phone on top of the welder on top of my service truck which is about 10 ft tall. It fell off driving down the road at 55mph hit the pavement and bounced and flip violently down the road and landed in the ditch the case was damamged but the phone made it without a scratch. I will purchase this case from now on, it def saved a 1k$ phone from being completly destroyed. ... show more

Wow OutterBox is my new favorite phone case!!! I drop my pbone so easily that I needed something with a tougher shell and this was it. The thickness is very protective, the quality is amazing. Its the appropriate fit to my phone. The color was correct and to the actual picture. I like that the kickstand was a clip style, so convenient and the functionality was everything I personally needed in my phone case. I've bought 2 already.     • Bulky but good for work or travel

I mean its a big bulky case. You may not want to use this case outside of work or travel. The s24 ultra is already a big phone. When you put the defender on it it becomes a brick lol. I much prefer the Otterbox Symmetry series for a daily driver. Much more sleek design with great protection. However, I have still cracked screens at work using the Symmetry series so I figured Id go a step up. I feel confident in my choice as a work/travel case. But I went ahead and also ordered a Symmetry case for casual use. I refuse to buy any other brand case. Maybe Otterbox is overpriced. Maybe other cheaper brands have as good or better protection. But I believe in Cost/Performance. The more expensive something is, 9 times out of 10 its a better product. Unless its an apple product.. 9 times out of 10 cost doesnt not equate performance with Apple.. I dont just buy Otterbox because their expensive though. I buy them because of their confidence in their products to charge a higher price. And over the years I have been very impressed with their products and think they are worth the price. I did have to return the 1st Defender I got for my s24 ultra though. For some reasoning the hard plastic inner shell would "creak and crackle" as I handled the phone. Like the plastic wasnt machined to be a tight fit. The replacement I got does not have this issue. So thats a win! ... show more
