Case is awesome but I feel like an idiot. I have had Defender cases for multiple Galaxy phones in the past and knew they separated into pieces to apply to the phone but when the case for my S24 Ultra arrived, it appeared to be all one unit. I tried to push my phone in and it was impossible so I returned it for a replacement, thinking my case was defective. When the replacement had the same problem, I realized I was doing something wrong and (moment of clarity) googled how to put the phone into the case. The system was the same as in the past, only better, and it fit perfectly. I hope I didn't stress my phone too much while trying to jam it into the case without taking the pieces apart and applying them properly. When I had issues with my first attempt, I tore open the box and looked for instructions on the inside but didn't see any. (If they were there, I missed them.) I think Otterbox should include a QR code on the box to guide people to a video on how to apply the case to the phone for people like me who are too dense to figure it out despite years of prior experience. I feel bad that I returned my first case and hope this review helps others to avoid the stupid mistake I made. I love this case (I love that it's bulky and can protect the camera lenses and keep them clean) and am so glad I figured it out. So far, my phone seems to have not been affected by the stress I put on it while trying to force it into the case while it was all connected as one unit. The case is amazing, very protective. BUT I have a tempered glass screen protector and it lifts up one of the corners so I have to keep pushing it down again. I'm still giving 5 stars because it's a great case it just has one little issue.

Works well as far as sealing up ports. I haven't dropped my phone from anything higher than a foot so I'm unable to testify to the shock factor. I did drop in the river and phone is fine. Works as you'd expect an Otter product to work. The only brand of cases I use.

This case is very tough I left my phone on top of the welder on top of my service truck which is about 10 ft tall. It fell off driving down the road at 55mph hit the pavement and bounced and flip violently down the road and landed in the ditch the case was damamged but the phone made it without a scratch. I will purchase this case from now on, it def saved a 1k$ phone from being completly destroyed. ... show more

I've had many otterbox cases over the years. They have all held up great and protected my phone well. I like the color and looks of this one and it was easy to put on. I was worried it may mark and scratch more so than the black but it doesn't seem to at all. It's functioned perfectly protecting my S24. Especially when my toddler decides to chuck it across the room. It's easy to grip even for a 2 year old with a good arm. Otterbox cases may be slightly more expensive than others but the value for the money is worth it. ... show more
