Best value for how much you get... Better than anything else in its price range. It can even work as a chord/melody creator with the built in sounds and sequencer. I have also imported custom DX7 libraries from Dexed.

It seems well built, but Donner provides weak documentation and software to back it up (which is mostly not available from their website). I couldn't see what their "MidiSuite" accomplished. It seemed to just show the current settings on the keyboard. My keyboard did not seem to be touch (velocity) sensitive and I could find no setting regarding turning sensitivity on, off, or adjusting it. When I bought it, the info Rufus gave on this differed from Donner's website. I bought it because it had 128 built in sounds, which I hoped were General Midi realistic sounds. They are actually synthesized FM sounds that I don't care for. As a midi controller it may work fine, especially for those who have used a similar controller before. However, I returned it - it wasn't what I was looking for.

I bought this for my grandson and he loves it. The sound quality is excellent, it is easy to use and the value for the money was amazing. He showed us what he could do with the keyboard and the functions was easy to use and the sound quality was amazing. I had read reviews of two others he sent me that were terrible but this one has wonderful quality and the keyboard quality makes it easy to use.

I do not know a thing about this item because I could not get any information about it. It was supposed to come with 4 daws and 40 courses so I could learn a few things. There is nothing in the box besides a tiny manual a usb cord and the keyboard. No mention where to get software. so I looked around on the net for some info, found none. called Amazon customer service( very courteous, and tried to answer my questions, also tried to help he for about 2 hours.) I finally got a response to go to a site and enter my sales number from the Amazon receipt. It didn't work. I have been writing Donner for days now. they gave me codes (didn't work). I have sent them a final letter asking them for the URL to get the software that was supposed to come with it, and why this information is not easily available. If I do not get a valid response after all the messages back and forth, I am gonna just send it back and wipe my hands clean of Donner and all their products. I really wanted to keep it, but it's just a paperweight as is. I will update this review if Donner comes through for me.

It's the mvave smk37pro but for donner but it does have an issue with the sequencer.... There's a sound that shouldn't be there when activated other than that it's good

As a DJ and Musician I obviously work with a lot of equipment that utilizes midi! Therefore having a good solid midi controller makes all the difference in the world! This particular MIDI controller from Donner called the Starrykey-37 play is actually surprisingly good!! Before I begin I wanted to point out that the only thing I had an issue with in regards to this product is that it doesn't already have a built-in five pin MIDI Din Socket! I would say 100% of my midi gear that I use such as my keyboards, digital audio workstations, sequencers, Etc all run off of five pin MIDI din! Therefore in order to utilize this product I had to purchase a 3.5 mm Type-A TRS to five pin midi Din adapter! Other than that I didn't have any other issues with this MIDI Controller! First of all I do like the feel of the keys on this midi keyboard it doesn't feel cheap or weak compared to other midi controllers that I've seen out there! Included with the Box was also a USB to USB-C cable which can be used to transmit audio and midi data as well as powering the devices well! The only ports that you have on this unit are a quarter inch sustain pedal, 3.5 mm TRS audio out, a 3.5 mm TRS MIDI out and a USB-C port! Again as previously mentioned I wish they had a 5-pin midi din but other than that this is pretty much what you're working with! Some great features that I do like about this controller is that it has 16 RGB pads with velocity and after touch support, 37 velocity sensitive spring loaded mini keys, a built-in FM synthesis engine with 128 sound presets, 8 endless encoders with no Bank selection, four faders with fader Bank select, and on board arpeggiator, note repeat and sequencer, built-in USB audio interface as well as wireless audio and midi support! In addition there is a software download which will help you utilize specific music tools geared for this product! There is midi sweet software editors that you can use to customize your controller! The great thing is it is compatible with both Windows and Mac as well as Android! I also forgot to mention that this unit features Wireless capabilities as well which you can execute via bluetooth! I think Bluetooth compatibility is important considering most things these days are run wirelessly! Overall I am very pleased and impressed by this MIDI controller keyboard! I feel that it will be a very useful unit to have especially when I am djing! As you can imagine as a DJ we really don't have much space to work with so having something compact with lots of features makes my job super easy! Therefore based on my review I am rating this product five stars!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This MIDI keyboard controller is compact enough for small desks but packs in a lot of controls: pads, knobs, faders, and features. It’s easy to set up, and comes with a good starter manual so you can plug in and get going quickly. The keys are springy and responsive, though they’re mini-sized, so if you have big hands you might need a minute to adjust. The DAW compatibility is solid, and it comes with lesson codes and some bundled software. There’s no traditional five-pin MIDI out, just USB and 3.5mm, so keep that in mind if you have older gear. It’s mostly plastic but nothing feels cheap or loose. I got mine to practice home recording with the kids and it’s worked out well.
