With this cover, my Switch has survived a few drops and countless trips getting knocked around in my backpack. It’s super easy to remove and the grips on the side also make it easier on my hands for long hours of playing. Only wish it came in fun colors.

I have a SUPCASE for my phone and after getting a switch saw that they also sold a case for the switch I bought it right away. I got the clear version, since I also got a skin for my switch and wanted to still be able to see it. This case is to be primarily used in the Switch's 'Handheld' mode, but can be docked (with some difficulty). I didn't realize at the time of ordering that I wouldn't be able to use the kickstand on it. This was disappointing since the 2 phone cases I have had (from SUPCASE), came with a built in kick stand. Edit: I saw a video and turns out I was putting it on the hard way. To put on the case, I have the joy-cons detached, place the console in the case, and then slide the controllers in; to remove do the vice-versa. With everything in, it is all snug and there is no wiggle space. Unfortunately since I have a skin/wrap on my joy-con it catches on the case when trying to slide the controller in, but the handle in these spots are flexible enough to easily work around that. Docking with it IS possible, but the original dock for the switch might not want to be used. Without the switch the case appears to work (the prongs and port go though the space provided in the switch). When the console (with a screen protector) is attached though, you are not able to just drop it in. Other reviews have mentioned difficulties getting it do dock correctly and I do say the same. Before I had to tilt it left/right to get Switch to dock right and even then there was a loud *SNAP* that made me feel uneasy but nothing seemed to break. That said I think the trick to more easily is to try pushing the bottom portion of the joy-cons in, while pushing down. When undocking, the bottom lip of the case catches on something part of the Switch's dock. I am able to both charge the switch and receive a signal on my computer screen (via a capture card). TLRD: The case does blocks the kickstand, and doesn't provide it's own. Little difficulty putting on, if you have joy-cons with skin/wrap. To dock, try pushing (lightly) the bottom portion of the joy-con in while moving the whole down to dock.

Now, I don't have any kids but I do have a husband and he has dropped our switch in transport a few times already. And while he did protest the case because it "isn't as cool with it on", I am surely grateful for it! I will definitely be ordering a back up just in case because I would rather replace something like this than a screen or even a whole Switch. 10/10 recommend!

This is exactly what i was looking for! Dockable, still able to take out the controllers, & protective. I love the handle grips, very comfortable to hold and it looks goos!
