Nice warm jacket for the money

I bought another winter jacket because the one I had had no protection from.wind. we have hard winters in austin and even one week a sweater can be not enough!! I got a size large because I felt x large would be really big. I lift a lot of weights and when i got it i was nervous that a sweater wouldn't fit. I tried my Nike one is one of the warmest sweaters I had. So luckily with a sweater it will fit. That's one thing to consider when buying this jacket i almost got nervous I'd need to exchange it. There seems to be a good amount of warm.material on the inside of it so im.pleased so far I decided to buy it!! I'll see if it pays off this winter with an update!! I like the style of the jacket but it's important to note after buying this i see it says hand wash only.

This is a really good jacket. One thing that foes suck is the inside attracts and contains a lot of dust. I have dogs and even with a wash it is hard to get the hair out. Other than that it’s nice and warm! It’s a little heavy but it fits will and does its job with rain protection and wind resistance.

I have two teenage boys who really don't want to wear coats so because I am buying this just for the times they will actually HAVE to have a coat they have the same one in slightly different colors. Regarding color. The Dark Grey is pretty much Black so my boys might have a hard time telling theirs apart. Regarding size. I first purchased Small thinking it might fit the bigger of my two boys. As he is between small and medium in men's shirts. The Small fit him like the Boys XXL 16 coat he just grew out of. Needless to say it didn't fit the smaller of my boys either. I then went with the Large. This fits my bigger boy (the one who is between Small and Medium in men's shirts) great in the sleeves. It's a little bulky in the body but I figure it's fine as he isn't likely to wear it except for when he wants to have layers on underneath anyway. I went ahead and ordered the Medium for my smaller boy (he is between Boys 16 and Men's Small in shirts) and it fit him great in the sleeves but also bulky in the body. I cannot say much for the warmth or the sturdiness of the coat as they have not yet worn it. Both boys like the synthetic fur on the inside.

I was skeptical to buy an off brand jacket, but I am really glad I did! It was a great price and actually is really warm! I live in the Midwest so having a warm winter coat is essential! I love the satin lined sleeves so it is easy to get on & off over winter clothing. Honestly the only thing that is annoying is that the hood is only attached in the back by a partial zipper...the 2 ends of the hood have Velcro on them that you apparently are to use to secure them under your chin when in use...if you don't the hood just flops around because it is really large and you really have to tighten the string inside. I sew and I plan on attaching extra Velcro on the jacket near the neckline so I can just have it attached all of the time
