I've had some Irwin clamps for years I just love but needed some more. I saw these recommended on a YouTube video and they get good reviews so decided to buy them. With everything today being made a little flimsier and with more plastic I wasn't surprised these felt a bit cheaper than my old Irwins. The Workpro opening size is as described and the grip strength out of the box is good. We'll see how they do over time. And we'll see how this plastic holds up to normal wear, tear and abuse. The Irwin's have done great. One nice feature of the Workpro is the internal and external feature. To swap the end piece just push the red button, it releases the end clamp, slide it off, turn it around, slide it back on, push the red button again to lock it and you have a clamp for a different purpose. I'll give them 5 stars for now since they seem pretty good and versatile for the price.

These clamps are so very easy to use...even one handed! Very, very sturdy and I like that it has a button for the quick change spreader feature instead of a screw. [another plus: these pink ones are so pretty...LoL] Bought 3 sets and I use them a lot. Thanks Workpro for making these available.

Bought these as I needed some additional squeeze clamps and the set seemed to be the right size and price I wanted to spend. Overall these are light duty clamps and they work well for lighter applications. The pads on the clamps are good as they protect the surface you are clamping. They are easy to use. Only drawback I see with these over my heavier duty Irwin clamps is they are not strongly built to exert enough pressure to close gaps in thicker wood or metal if trying to bring pieces closer together. You would need much heavier built clamps with 300 Plus pounds per inch clamping force.

Clamps are clamps until they don't hold. These hold very well. I was very impressed with the 4 1/2" clamping strength. The large pads provide good even pressure across the work piece. Are great for wood working and getting that perfect joint.

For the price these will work fine for my purposes. Not on par with the more expensive clamps in this size and function, but clamps rarely break or wear out, so I have no complaints.

I had purchased these clamps for when my dogs knocked down items that needed to be glued back together. I needed clamps to hold the items together as the glue set; but, did not exert so much force that it could break items or make things snaps from the pressure. Unfortunately, the clamps slide a bit jerky with stops and starts, so when I am trying to bring them closer to hold the pieces, quiet often, the pieces come apart before I can get it there. The larger ones are not as bad as the smaller ones; but the smaller ones are the ones I need to use for smaller pieces. These would be fine for just wood working or holding material to a frame so you can work with it, but not good for the reason I purchased it.
