I love this portable dual burner! It heats up super fast, and the build quality is really nice and solid. It's going to be great to have the extra burners for holiday cooking. It couldn't be easier to use, just plug it in and turn the dial to the temperature you want. The glass burners start turning reddish-pink as they heat up. Something to keep in mind is that when you turn it off and the burners are no longer lit up, they are still VERY hot. It takes a while to cool down. Overall, I would recommend. Works great, cleans up with just a damp cloth, and can be used anywhere.

For the holidays, we have a large family to cook for and our 4 burner stove just does not seem to keep up with all that we need to make. This hot plate works perfectly to add 2 more burners to the mix. The burners heat up decently and hold a steady temp. Like any hot plate, once you turn them off it takes a fair bit of time to cool down, but once cooled it is easy to clean and put away. You only need to wipe them down and you are good to go.

I have often wished I had one more burner when cooking a huge family meal. I don’t care how meticulously I plan the timing of the meal, there always seems to be more pans of food to cook than burners to cook them on. I have tried portable burners in the past, only to be disappointed. This portable dual burner was a pleasant surprise. It really delivers as promised with two burners and independent controls. I now have two extra burners that work to help me get everything on the table at the same time. The smooth burner surface makes it very easy to clean, and it works with any type of cookware. One burner is 900W and the other is 1800W. I use the 900W burner for simmering, and the more powerful 1800W for stir fry, fried chicken and other higher temp cooking. My husband likes the simplicity of the dial controls that don’t beep at him like our induction cooktop does. This is also a perfect camping stove, since we always camp at a site with electricity. Our previous camp stove was one that used the propane bottles, and I think this portable electric cooktop is much safer. It is also much easier to pack up and doesn’t take up as much room as our old camp stove and extra fuel. It is also very handy to have around during hurricane season. We can use this with our generator so we can have hot meals even if we don’t have power for several days. Our generator is not powerful enough to run our regular cooktop, but has no trouble with this dual burner hot plate. It has been a great addition to our storm preparedness equipment. I am glad I ordered this.
