So out of the box, filled with 2 cycle fuel, started after a few pulls. All components worked ;however, have not used extensively to grade durability. Initially all components seem to be well engineered and interchange easily. Only negative is that motor and weed whip assembly seem heavy too handle ---- but the shoulder harness that comes with system works and fits very well and reduces weight issue ;in addition, the quick release works and is a nice feature. I was disappointed when I first received this product, it ran great for thirty minutes and than had issues running. I call the help line for amazon, they were awesome!!! Had me a brand new at my door two days later, with a box and shipping label to send back the old one. The new one they got me runs like a champ. All of the attachments work perfectly and super easy to assemble. If you are in the market for a weed wacker, hedge trimmer, pole saw, and brush cutter, this product is amazing and will not let you down, my yard and my mothers yard look great with this easy to use multi tool. ... show more

The quality is quite good and it starts and runs well. My only complaint is that it’s a little heavy. The handle is padded and feels like it could rip easily. I would prefer a solid plastic handle without the padding. Overall I’m pleased.

    • Junk starter and casing broke, seller won’t help, manufacturer won’t answer. Not recommended!

Worked well both times I was able to use it until a major part broke completely off and now it’s useless. Would have waited to write a review until after fixing it and using more, to write an honest review of how the product actually works, but the seller told me to get ahold of the manufacturer, and they won’t answer, and the seller said there’s nothing they can do about it. They gave me a contact number, I said they won’t answer their phone (they gave me a personal cell phone number, not a company), and they said sorry that’s the only way to contact them and there’s nothing more they can do for me. So, bought this thing, super exited, used briefly (basically just to show it off), and the starter part (pull string and the plastic cover part-the whole thing) broke off, now I have a pile of junk, with no way to fix it. All in all, it’s a cheaply made product (plastic body and pull string), and customer service is non-existent. If this changes, I will update this review. ... show more

I have used the hedger to trim back neighbors overgrown brush into my yard. Worked well, but will be oiling it soon. I used the brush cutter to cut a path in very tall field grass, 6' tall. Cut path to creek 30yrds away. Tall grass did get wrapped up in the head; but easily removed. I used the brush cutter for at least 1.5hrs almost none stop; one tank of gas used. I did use the premix 50:1 fuel. This is expensive but if you want high performance and long use from your engine, I recommend it. This did cut small saplings and bushes. A lot of weeds and grass it did very well with. Cleared an area about 40'x40' that we use in front of deer stand. I bought this specially for this reason, to clear tall grass, weeds and brush from hunting area. It worked very well, better than I expected. Exceeded my expectation. ... show more

I bought this primarily because my wife thought we needed a gas hedge trimmer to tame the wisteria vines that are taking over our chain link fence. I was also tired of a batter powered weed eater that couldn't finish my whole yard on a single charge. This unit was the same price or less than the uni-tasker gas hedge trimmers and I got the bonus of a pole saw attachment, something I always thought it would be cool to own, but couldn't really justify. The primary reason for the 3 star rating is the manual. It is HORRIBLE. Not only is the translation from Chinese poor (which I have come to expect), the illustrations don't match the parts I actually got and are too small to see clearly anyway. I consider myself somewhat mechanical and as a farm boy have some experience with power tools, but the assembly of the string cutter head to the shaft baffled me for almost 2 hours. Turns out there was a guard and cam that looked to be only required for the brush cutter if you read the manual that was also required to keep the string head from over tightening. I was further perplexed by the reference to using a "proper" wrench to prevent the shaft from spinning rather than specifying which of the 4 included wrenches was the "proper" one. This is a case where an illustration that showed the actual parts included and/or and expanded view of the proper assembly would have been immensely helpful. The included harness is also somewhat confusing, but my wife said it was somehow like something she had to use when driving a forklift and helped me figure out how I was supposed to wear it. I will say that once I got everything figured out, the motor started right up and I was able to do some weed eating without any issues. In the end I decided not to wear the harness as it seems to me it would force you to keep the motor too close to your body and I thought it put the controls in a awkward position. If I were going to work with it all day long, I could probably get used to it, but the unit isn't so heavy that the support is required for short term use. I haven't had a chance to try out the hedge trimmer or pole saw attachments yet, but when I do I will try to update this review. ... show more
