I installed these a few weeks ago and I really wanted to let them sink into my life during the hottest part of the year. here is what I like, and what I didn't love. Liked: * They work, like really well. the room goes from light to dark exceptionally well, which makes these great for getting my kid to fall sleep when the sun is setting at 8:30. * They look good, which was a worry that they would look gaudy or cheap, and they don't. * they do an excellent job of blocking light, and are easy to pull up or down without the worry of strings. Didn't like: * measuring listed on the page was less than Ideal. I measured as instructed, ordered the size and when they arrived, they fit, but it wasn't a tight fit, and any attempt to pull them down, pulled everything down. I installed a small 1/2" block in the window sill and you wouldn't know, but they are snug. * wrench to tighten system - it doesn't lock into place, there is no "finite" it hits the end and "overtightening" is just a loose 1/2 twist too much. I also do not particularly card for the wrench system and wrench included -- too easy to overtighten and not easy to maneuver, but doable. the width on the actual blinds came up about 44.5" on a 45" wide unit, my window is about 45.5" -- so take that with a grain of salt and just get as close as you can to your window, I am not docking it because of measurement inconsistencies as it could have very well been a me problem.
