This product was a quick and artful solution to adding a header to a wood photo board I built for our summer cottage. (See photo). I followed the directions and it worked like a charm. I can pass on a few tips— 1. Use a high quality laser printer. The inexpensive Brother laser printer at my house gave poor results with washed out letters. I then tried using a high quality Xerox laser printer at work and the letters on the decal material came out sharp and well defined with excellent colors. 2. I wetted the wood destination slightly with warm water before applying the decals. The wood surface was semi smooth (rough sanded with a light latex rub). 2. After trimming the decals, I soaked in warm water one at a time for 30 seconds. I used a timer. 3. I put the decal with the backing where I wanted the decal to be and with a couple of fingers lightly keeping the decal in place, I gently pulled the backing to the right and out from under the decal, leaving the decal on the right spot without handling it. The wetted surface allowed fine tuning the placement. 3. I used a wet paper towel to smooth out the decal and press it into the texture of the wood. 4. I slightly dampened a second paper towel and gently blotted the decal to remove excess water drops. Be careful with this step. The paper towel must be moist enough not to lift the decal. The decal has a satin finish that is visible compared to the flat finish of the latex wash on the wood. I would say it is noticeable from certain angles but not so much that it distracts. I will figure out what to do about it over the winter and will provide an update. Overall I highly recommend this product. It provided an attractive solution to giving my project a lighthearted header and should last for years to come.

Great product. I have been using laser printed decals for 5+ years now and the product doesn’t disappoint. Incredible detail is retained and i use the decal paper for tiny projects (specifically on small LEGO pieces to create custom parts) the decal paper forms across any bumps and extrusions without losing detail and quality. Had a small problem with a missing pack and my order and the seller happily sent my missing item right then and there. Great product and great company. Thanks so much!

This was my first time using waterslide decal paper, and I was a little nervous. But, I needn't have worried. The pack came with an insert with step-by-step directions (and each included a picture), which made it easy to use and the final application carefree. I didn't experience any trouble with the paper curling or smearing. You will want to trim very close to your "image" because if you look carefully, you can notice a slight edge where the clear paper is. It is transparent, but ever so slightly noticeable. Getting the best adhesion can be a little fiddly, but I found it's better not to overwork it. The paper takes color ink very well and of course color accuracy will all depend on your printer's capabilities. I needed white text for my projects, so I ended taking it to a friend who has an industrial printer, and the paper worked perfectly in his printer as well. This item is perfect for any cosplayers, propmakers, or model builders who want to add a little extra to their pieces:)

Very straight forward. This is a an absolutely wonderful product for those wanting to create fully colored [or black and white] decals. As with many water bath decals, this will show a slight background even being clear, so cut as close as you can to the image. I have old models that needed restoration and this paper was the ticket. The laser paper has performed solidly for me. It didn't take any soaking time at all and they go on smoothly and dry quickly.

The media could not be loaded. Before buying I did some research on what to do reading all thr reviews deciding on this one. I was looking for something to just do outline to layer over glitter to make my tumblers pop. And boy did this do it. I used an epson work force inkjet printer. Some tips would be make sure after printing you spray it with a clear top coat, so you don't run the risk of the ink coming off. I did go with a glossy spray paint but found that when I go to epoxy seal it, it slides all over and leaves spots bare. I will be trying a matte or satin finish and will update my review at a later time. Also when you go to wet it be ready for it to curl onto itself before it straightens back out. As it's in the water I slide it off the paper just a bit and then apply it to my project to slide it off the rest of the way. Keep it wet til you get it in the desired location and you can begin to squeeze the water from under the decal for the permanent spot. Hi resolution images is best to ensure you get the quality that you want. Lower resolutions tend to come out fuzzy and or pixilated. I am happy with the over all outcome of both my projects even in the trial and error stage.
