Absolutely love this brand of Waterslide paper. I use the clear and white both, depending on my need, but mostly the clear. It dries very smooth and crystal clear. Work time is neither fast nor slow, as it gives plenty enough time to smooth on your nonporous surfaces before setting. Some tips: - This particular paper is for Laser Jet printers ONLY. They do make Ink Jet papers, however. But do not use ink jet in anything but an ink jet printer, and do not use laser jet in anything but a laser jet printer. Yes, it ABSOLUTELY MATTERS. If you have access to a laser jet printer, than I highly recommend you use that with the laser jet paper over the ink jet paper in an ink jet printer. The results will be super clear, crisp images or texts, and the ink is pretty much dried before you even take the paper off the printer. The ink jet works very also, don’t get me wrong, but laser jet is my preference. - (For curved or rounded surfaces) It is not recommended for use on curved surfaces (more curved than mugs or tumblers… it works fine on those curved surfaces), however, with a little trial and error, you absolutely can use on a curved surface. It takes more time to work the water out and there will be creases but only at the edges (again, it takes trail and error to get this far in successfully). The trick is to leave excess paper around your decal. That is where the creases will end up at, leaving your decal on the curved or rounded surface smooth. Once set, scour the excess lightly with an exacto knife, then use the tip to lift or gently scrape away. You may notice the decal start to wrinkle as it tries to set, that is because there is still water trapped under the decal due to the curved nature of your piece. Adding heat with a heat gun and working the water out to the edges with your fingertips while the piece is warm will help. You may need to do this a few times until you notice the decal is setting, which means the water is gone from under the decal surface. - (For any level of surface area) Make any adjustments to the placement of your decal immediately while there is still plenty of water under the surface. Decals can still be somewhat adjusted while there is still some moisture under the surface, but once too much is gone, it will start setting too much to adjust. This Waterslide paper does an excellent job at not stretching and distorting the decal while you make adjustments. - Keep your fingers wet while smoothing out the water from under the surface. It’s recommended to use a squeegee type tool to press the water out from under the surface, however, I only use my fingers (CLEAN!), so I can manipulate the paper better since I mostly use on curved surfaces. As your decal begins to dry on top, add more water to your fingers as to continue to allow them to glide over the surface. - Absolutely, 100% do NOT use on anything but smooth and nonporous surfaces! If your desired surface is rough or porous, seal at least the area you wish to apply your decal on with mod podge or resin, something that will seal and smooth nicely. - Make sure your surface is clean and work in an area where dust or debris is not present. This product is hands down the best at not forming air bubbles under your decal because the water presses out so beautifully and cleanly. Little specks of debris such as hair, or paper towel pills that are on your surface before you apply your decal will be impossible to remove once it is set. So pay attention to that. Debris also causes the paper to not set around the debris. It will look like an air pocket when dried. If this happens, you can gently poke the bubble and rub a wet finger over the area and allow to dry. It won’t be perfect, but it will be better than leaving it be, sometimes it won’t even be noticeable at all, depending on your surface whether it’s transparent like glass or not, on your decal design itself, and where the bubble had formed. Overall, this won’t be an issue as long as your surface is clean before placement. - Most Waterslide paper requires you to seal the decal with an acrylic sealer after printing and before laying in water. This paper does not include that in its instructions, and it’s not something I do either way because I seal my entire finished project with resin or an acrylic sealer anyways, so if that’s what your plan is anyways, then there is no need to apply a sealer to the decal prior to application. I’ve never tried to seal the decal first like most Waterslide papers recommend, but I’m sure this paper will work just the same if you choose to do so, even though it’s not included in the instructions. Have fun with designing and crafting! 10/10 WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND! Don’t look at anything else. The price is right, the product is highest quality, and you will not regret buying it!

Follow your printer guidelines! These decals are every bit as good as the sheets that come with model kits. I printed the first sheet and was completely pissed. Was about to write a bad review and then asked ChatGPT for guidance. One option change in the printer settings (I chose Labels) and wham!, perfect print every time. This is quality paper y'all! The decals slid right off the paper and onto my model like butter and I went very very small on these decals, worked awesome! Don't leave them in the water for more than 10-15 seconds and you'll be fine. Use Micro Set and Micro Sol if you have some, makes it even better. Just don't be dumb and try to force a round peg into a square hole. If you do, its your fault. Luckily, I only wasted one sheet. Can't wait for my clear sheets to arrive! Game changer!

I design and print my own waterslide decals, so I Purchased, both the white and the clear laser decal paper in standard thickness to use on my model cars ranging from 1/64 scale to 1/18 scale and this paper works perfect across all applications. It soaks and releases quickly, it’s fine enough to get into most of the tiny crevices, and with the printer set properly they print perfectly without jamming! This is high-quality and my go to paper. Love this stuff!

I need to label an refurbished equipment panel. Normally I us dry transfer rub-on lettering and be done with it. But seems my dry transfer keep hardening when setting for month in the drawer. In addition they are installed one letter at a time and no images or such can be done. I have started etching brass and aluminum for descriptive or image labels but process and materials are a bit to deal with. In looking for some new dry transfers I found the sunnyscopa waterslide decals. So I tried them. Very simple used my word processor program to make the file and printed it to the paper. Cut it to size, soak a few seconds and put it on panel. I could not ask for more. Well maybe would like to clear coat but not sure what spray to use. If I read right these a urethane for material so likely a automotive clear urethane.
