I love this fountain - the look of it is attractive and gives a peaceful feeling. It provides just the right amount of water sound - not too much or too little, with NO splashing! The pump is extremely quiet, at least most of the time - it occasionally makes a little bit of noise for a while, I'm kind of assuming it may suck up some bit of debris on those occasions, because it's so quiet the rest of the time - virtually can't even tell it's running. As mentioned in other reviews the LED lights are bright, but that is easily remedied by a few well-placed rocks (a previous separate purchase), to cover or divert the light. I do like the light once the rocks toned it down, it definitely adds to the fountain. The only 'negative' I can post is that it's a little awkward getting to the pump, etc., since it's all self-contained within the fountain, but it's doable and I don't know how else it could be handled other than if the fountain had a bowl under it that the pump rested in, but of course that would give it a bigger footprint and it's a nice compact size as is - not too small, not too big. No complaints, very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to others! ... show more

    • Soothing trickling sound for my home office.
I work one-on-one with clients, remotely, and the pace and intensity has made me increasingly exhausted over the years. This little fountain is part of my attempt to create a calming home office environment, and if today was any indication, it’s working. Here are my initial thoughts on Day One. Sound: The trickling water sound is subtle. Clients couldn’t hear it, but I could and I found it soothing. The sound of the pump is nearly inaudible. We could only hear it with everything else in the environment being quiet, and even then we had to put out ear near the pump. Super quiet, if not nearly silent pump. Visual: I like the look (slightly rugged/realistic) and feel (heavy). It’s definitely diminutive; the measurements are in the product description. I’m not a fan of the strident LED bulbs but I knew they were part of the deal when I bought the fountain so I can’t complain. I only wish there was an option for a warmer colored light. Cost: Absolutely reasonable. No regrets. Assembly/setup instructions: The little booklet is clearly written by someone who isn’t a native English speaker. That’s not bothersome except for a few confusing lines that slowed our setup process. It probably added maybe five minutes to the 12-15 minute setup process as we second guessed ourselves. I like this little fountain, the pump works and is quiet. The LEDs make the water falls glisten. The painting of the "stacked rocks" is very good, better than I expected, very natural. I'm using the fountain outside on a bench. However, this particular item was a re-sold item shipped in a styrofoam protection but in a box that was loosely retaped, and the old labels were torn off with some of the cardboard. The water chamber had a couple of small broken bits rattling. I can't tell where they broke off, but that was disturbing, yet I got the pump attached and filled the chamber to the bottom level with the "door", and plugged it in. Voila! lovely little cascade of water over a couple surprisingly bright bluish white LEDs at night . My husband, who is not usually attuned to decor, said this fountain was charming. I've set it with a couple of small potted plants that will benefit from the light humidity. ... show more

I am using this in the corner of a frog terrarium with distilled purified water and the little froggos love it! (I used little pieces of red shrink tubing to cover the white LEDs, making them dimmer so they don't hurt the frog's eyes at night.) I do have to take the whole fountain out if the terrarium periodically and clean it, including the little sponge filter inside the pump itself, which opens and cleans very easily. I was happy with how enclosed the fountain is, I didn't have to worry about plugging up any holes to keep critters out of the inner workings. The pump is silent but the water makes a faint 'trickle' sound that gets a little louder when the water needs refilling. I love this product so much I bought two of them. ... show more

This is the second one of this exact fountain I have purchased. And the second one that has failed in record breaking time! This latest one I purchased in December . Here it is March and already it has stopped pumping water completely. I will not be repurchasing . Two in a row in less that 5 months have just clunked out . It is sooo pretty and peaceful when it works but unfortunately they don't work for long. Now it's simply an aesthetically pleasing rock with no water flow. ... show more

    • Lovely look and calming trickling sounds of water
I received it from Amazon and started using right away. Unfortunately, the pump started drowning out the water sounds in a few hours of use. UGH I thought. I reread instructions and recleaned it. Plugged it back in and tried again. The pump was still very loud. I emailed Sunnydaze with the problem. Next business day they sent email apologizing and notified me that they were sending a new pump - no questions asked. I received new pump within 2 days. I unpacked it, ensured it was clean and put it in. I was skeptical and hopeful and to my pleasant surprise, it worked and is working. I have been using it nearly non-stop since and I am very pleased. I like the design, the water trickling sounds are wonderful and calming. The lights are a little bright when you look at them directly, otherwise, this piece is near perfect. I gave it a 5 star because it was delivered on time, is as described (and probably better) and customer service was incredibly timely and efficient. I cannot hear the pump unless I put my ears to the actual location. The videos show the piece in action and you can hear the wonderful sounds as well. ... show more

It's beautiful to look at but I kid you not...this thing is silent when I turn it on! I've tried all different water levels and have added rocks...but you have to get the rocks just right to get a trickle...which is unfortunate...because the water stream eventually pushes them out of position and I have to reposition them a million times to get that lovely trickle that I love so much. ☹ ... show more
