This fountain is so worth the money!!! I got this fountain and it has worked beautifully ever since. My dad liked it so much that when he saw mine, he bought one for his office. There is several tips I would reccomend if you're going to get this one. Use an algae controller- You won't believe the difference this makes! The media could not be loaded. **Update as of 2/2019: I still love this fountain. It has never leaked. I have done a thorough cleaning alongside changing the water here and there. Cleaning it well is a bit of a challenge due to the shape, but it is doable. I am still incredibly pleased with this product. It continues to look beautiful and every part remains fully functional, from the pump to the lights. I’ve been using this fountain for the past three days, and I am loving it. The sounds of water flowing are exactly what I was looking for, the style is perfect, and the splash is minimal to none (on the highest flow setting). Set up was simple, and the lights are beautiful at night as they cast shimmering and dancing water ripples across the wall and ceiling. I am extremely pleased with this item, and I put in hours of research, looking at over 30 fountains to decide between, and I am very happy I chose this one.     • Warning sign on product regarding the material used may cause cancer
They really need to put the warning that they put on the product itself in their description on the website regarding the fact that the materials used may cause cancer according to California Laws. If this warning would have be divulged in the description next to the product on the website, I would have passed on ordering it. Also, because of this it is not safe to have around pets and we have 3 of them. As soon as I unboxed it and saw the warning sign, I boxed it back up and sent it right back. I'm all about healthy air, and that certainty would not have been putting good things in the air. In addition it smelled noxious so it was a double no for me. Next time I'll have to read the negative feedbacks more carefully. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Love the fountain! Larger then expected, pleasantly surprised. Pretty self-explanatory. Does come with instructions. Do make sure you clean out the inside of the fountain prior to adding water, it could possibly clog the pump. There is a slight hum from the pump, but I notice it's been getting quieter, just going to let it run for a bit. Overall, great buy! ... show more

    • 4 Years Later, Still Works Perfect
We bought this for a relative who teaches yoga. This has been a part of the studio decoration and used just about every day. We also bought that person the algae removing bio degradable stuff that keeps the system clean. This fountain is a nice, big size. The fountain sets on a wooden table. It's normal for mist to spatter out while this awesome fountain is in operation. So, under the fountain is a bamboo mat and under the bamboo mat is an empty plastic grocery bag that protects the wood below from minor water issues. We bought this fountain as a gift about 4 years ago. Not one issue at all. We just saw it still in use the other day. You can hear the water on this fountain. Just enough when meditating. It makes a good sound of water doing what water is supposed to do in a water fountain. Don't forget to keep adding water to it as the water evaporates and how quickly depends on where you live or the time of year. This made a wonderful gift. ... show more

    • The Most Soothing Fountain
After needing a fountain for the guest bedroom and I wanted something that had some lights and the sound of flowing water, I ended up with the perfect fountain. I was apprehensive at first. Most reviews were good, but the ones that weren't, scared me to death. It arrived in 2 days and I find it very appealing and the design is so nice... I tend to sleep in the guest bedroom often due to a snoring husband. I go in, plug it in and the soothing water sound and light reflection dancing on the ceiling sings me to sleep... I do put a couple of pebbles in where the lights are to tone down the lighting a little, but other than that, it is perfect. I use distilled water to keep from getting mineral buildup. It's a must have... UPDATE: I still live it. It still looks and sounds great. A bit bulky to clean, but if you keep up with cleaning it monthly and using distilled water, the fountain fives back with Crystal clear water and soothing sounds... ... show more

    • I would not recommend this fountain .
Very disappointing and returned it . It smelled weird and had a note attached to it stating that it may taint the water and make it harmful . Since I wanted to use it for a hummingbird bath I did not want to poison them . There was also a small piece broken off from something inside .

Well, I should have listened to all the 1 stars. Worked great for the first 3 days, then the motor changed sounds and then the leaking began. We had it in our foyer and it put water everywhere. Sad because it was well suited for the area we bought it for. I do not have the box now for the return but will send it back anyhow. It's a pos. ... show more
