This rolling garden seat was purchased for my girlfriend's mother. She is an avid gardener and has been struggling for some time to find an appropriate seat that she could easily move. This fits the requirement with the following features: 1. Large pneumatic tires roll easily over the dirt and plants ( fortunately not the good ones ). 2. The seat swivels easily ( however you should grease the seat support threads to keep it that way ). 3. While the seat does not steer, that is a PLUS as all of the other steering seats are designed in such a way that the mechanism is a weak link and fails quickly. 4. There is an under seat shallow tray. I purchased the Wald 585 Rear Bicycle Basket and attached it to one end of the seat with cable ties ( purchase at Harbor Freight or an auto store - get the larger, heavy duty style ). All in all I scored brownie points from my future mother-in-law, got a kiss from my girlfriend and ended up with more vegetables then I can possibly eat. This is a seat that will last unlike the other, steering seats. I recommend this for all gardeners and people that have issues staying bent over.

This is a good item for people who want to garden from seated position. Not super comfortable but itβs handy. Wish I bought the one that steers, this one you have to get up and redirect unless your going in a straight line. People with mobility issues might want use caution using this, it can tip over if your leaning way over or reaching. But it works well other than the things I mentioned above. Itβs also made well and is sturdy as it sits.

I ordered this one as its seemed like a great comfort tool for the garden. 1. first order was missing bolts, nuts, washers. 2. pack it and send it off and get a replacement 3. second delivery again was missing about half of bolts and nuts. 4. I used the parts that came with the package for assembly of some part, and they were very rickety. I predict critical parts will snap off just to movement metal fatigue. 5. Used my own parts to put the rest together and obviously the fit is not perfect but not much different for the things I could assemble with parts that came with the package. 6. Probably going to end up in the garbage but going to see how long it lasts, couldnt even be bothered for another replacement return. 7. Hopefully you read the review and don't have to go through the same process.

This is very well made, sturdy, etc. the issue is that it can very easily slip and roll right out from under you and is a bit dangerous that way. It would be great if it had a break to control rolling and even better if there was a way to steer it. This strictly goes straight and if there is even the slightest grade it can fly right out from under you.

This shop cart is very durable and pretty comfortable. The wheels are great as well. Had an issue that the seller promptly resolved, so I appreciate that. I'll be honest: I'm not getting as much use out of it as I thought I would. I bought it for gardening, but it's actually too high to reach anything I'm cultivating at ground level; and too low for anything else. Overall, it's very comfortable for sitting on when I need to take a break outside. Just be sure you know the height you'll be sitting at to be sure it'll work for you. Yes, it does swivel and rotate down/up a bit; but it's not extremely significant for my purposes. I do still think it was a great purchase.

I had both knees replaced this year meaning that I am ill-advised to get down on my hands and knees. This cart is a godsend. It has restored the gardening part of my life which had been suspended for several years. I would caution that it is sturdy which also means heavy. It would be easier to used if it steered, but I am working around that shortcoming.

Lets me work from a seated position and there is always a seat near by. I could not do a lot of the yard work any longer with out it! I wish it came with some kind of short handle to pull it to where I want to use it. I did not want the model with the handle where the wheels turned. It would be too unstable.

It works great but I should have gotten the one with the steering handle. I use a dog leash to pull it around in my yard. I think an optional wagon attachment would be great that way you can transport soil or mulch along with you while working.
