Very nice powerful tugger and incredible little scooter as well. This unit arrived extremely well packed with no problems. Even though having nothing to do with the shipping or packing I had a small issue with a tire air plug leaking due to the extreme closeness of air valve hole to the lug nut once screwed on. However the Super Handy company is true to their word in providing a quick response and solution to the problem once contacted. I knew this from prior purchase of the Super Handy stump grinder which is an excellent tool for small stump removal. In the case of the Tugger I currently use it to tow a 250 gal spray tank on a small trailer cart for lawn work. I think the weight in this case is about 300lbs when full of spray liquid. With such small load the Tugger can race across lawn with weed killer or any other spray liquid. I find it easier to haul and spray the liquid with the Tugger rather than using my compact tractor. The AGM battery power can speed the Tugger to some 4.3mpg. I do not go so fast when spraying but when needed I can go fast. The unit is equipped with disc brake and amazing thing for such a small unit and one switch speed control which allows one to easily go slower or faster without have a gear mechanism. I have a vintage Bass boat which weighs with engine approx. 1500 lbs which I keep stored in my barn with lawn equipment under shelter which is about 1000 yds from driveway. When using the boat I need to couple to my compact tractor and transport across lawn to then hook to my truck for fishing. Often times my tractor has other equipment already coupled to it making it tiresome to unhook and then re-hook after moving boat. My goal is to use the Tugger to tow the boat trailer up to where my truck is located. I have modified the hitch on the Tugger to add a 1 7/8 ball and hitch to it. The current problem is not the 1500 lb boat trailer but the fact that the hitch tongue weight is too heavy for the Tugger . When I try to place the boat trailer down on the Tugger the hitch tongue weight causes the Tugger front end to lift off ground. The solution to this I think is to used small 2 wheel axle between Tugger and boat trailer such that tongue weight of boat trailer would be applied to 2 wheel axle instead of the Tugger directly. I believe this will work and I hope to report in a second review of this product along with photos. I have no doubt the Tugger can pull the boat and trailer across the lawn since Tugger is rated at 2600lb towing. Truly a nice tool and probably excellent for someone who may need assistance with getting around. Very comfortable seat and long lasting battery and can be quickly recharged.

More delicate than indicated. For starters, this isn't a mobility scooter. If you have disabilities and you're looking for something comfortable and safe for daily use for regular living, this isn't it. This thing relies on 48v batteries that have no overcharge protection (even if the chargers and batteries say they do, read the other reviews). I'm only able to find maybe 3 brands that sell the batteries, including the SuperHandy brand. The batteries are expensive, for what they are. That being said, if you need a cart that can pull a heavy load around, and have reasonably driveable terrain, this can do it. You will probably want a weight for the front end, because it's a rear-wheel drive, and has an odd center of gravity. You might not pop wheelies in this thing but all of your steering control is in the front where all of your drive power is in the back. I would recommend getting a 2" Male to Male hitch joiner so you can open up your options for hitches. The battery compartment is reasonably protected and there is space under the seat for additional storage. You may want to velcro or magnet a tray in there with some tools. The handlebars have some play in them. You can eliminate some of it by opening the clamp and giving it a twist before closing it again. The wheels go on like standard car wheels with standard lug nuts and inflate like wheels do. Nothing fancy there. The drive system, breaking system, and power system all seem to be accessible and replaceable with standard market-available items you can probably find on Amazon or Alibaba etc, so repairs should be easy enough. There's a parking spot for an extra battery, which is great if you expect to take this thing anywhere or go any significant distance with it. That's not to say the battery it comes with is small, but it never hurts to be prepared. I took it to the end of our drive and back, hauling a full dumpster one way, and the battery still illuminated all 4 dots, showing 75+%... that's about a quarter of a mile. Impressive for such a portable battery. My house is on a nice hill too.... steep enough to sled when it snows, fwiw. The front wheel goes on easy enough, but the threaded rod has the illusion of being too long, until you tighten it all the way down. It does make some noises you might not be used to. Electric wheelchairs for mobility sound different. This machine doesn't have a horn, lights, or smart breaking. Beware, if you one-hand the controls, going downhill it will not stop itself. No automatic breaking or intelligent stopping. It will continue on. I would much prefer the throttle and the break be on the same hand. I will probably migrate the controls over if I can. There seems to be a protective fin under each wheel to protect against impacts to the drive system/motors etc. Unfortunately these cut down on the all-terrain viability for the vehicle and I may need to modify them to make it more viable for my yard and house. That being said I've got a lot of applications for this thing around the house that will make my life better, and perhaps even grocery shopping, the hardware store etc. Things a typical mobility scooter/electric wheelchair are not suited for (and would likely void the warranty if you tried). This machine seems suited for those tasks and I'll be making great use of it for yard work, home improvement etc. Also, there is no anti-theft mechanism. So if you take it somewhere and need to park it, at the very least, take the battery. Then someone can't just drive it off.

This electric cart is saving me, a 77 year old man, many, many calories, so far, after about 2 months of use, and is a lot cheaper than a used golf cart, which often to usually costs a minimum $3,000. Apparently these Chinese designers, though, themselves never assembled the front axle assembly, because I had to grind away about a half inch off each end of the axle sleeves to get the wheel to fit. Also, while making a hard left turn later in some very sandy soil, the very tubeless front tire came off the rim, which should have had a tube in it that would prevent the tire from sliding off the rim. So I ordered a heavy duty tube from Walmart online to put in the tire. OVERALL, THOUGH, THIS REALLY IS AN EXCELLENT BUY SINCE THE BATTERY IS POWERFUL AND THE TRANSMISSION IS AUTOMATIC WITH GREAT CONTROL. One last problem, though, if a flat free front tire is wanted, is the substandard front axle diameter. Instead of a cheap 22 millimeters, verified by an email to the seller, it should be a good old American 5/8 inch diameter which is the size of many flat free tires/wheels sold in the U.S. I searched extensively for a flat free tire, and the only one for a half inch axle (which would not even fit well on this Chinese axle) had a wheel height of 8 inches, from Grainger, when the cart's wheel height is 9 and 3/4 inches. Knowing what I know now with a limited budget, I would still definitely buy this little jewel of a cart.

Before I start off, I want to say that I own other pieces of SuperHandy equipment, and they're perfectly fine pieces of gear from a good company. This review is about USE-CASE and suitability—not the manufacturer, and not the quality of the device. I'm a late-50s disabled guy with a few more problems than I used to have by way of walking and getting around my yard. I've been disabled since 1983, and started having even more significant mobility issues back about 10 years ago. Those issues have only grown, and I wanted something to help me move more safely over my lawn and yard, which is average in its unevenness: no real slopes, a small divot here and there, and a small 5"-6" swell where a tree root lives. As robust as this little guy appears, and with its towing capacity, I thought this would be just the ticket to help me get around my yard and get me back outside more. I was mistaken, and I hope my experience can save other disabled folk the trouble. The simple truth is, this is NOT a assistive device for those with mobility, strength, or disability issues. Now in total fairness, IT'S NOT BILLED AS ONE, and the manufacturer makes *no* claims that it is. But us disabled and silver-haired ones see the form-factor of this and go “Yeah! Big tires!! Look at that shining metal! I could drive on the MOON with that guy, AND pull AN ACTUAL AIRPLANE!” Well, on the MOON? Yeah, it’d likely be better, because there’s a lot less gravity. This tugger is really made for what the manufacturer shows you: tarmac, poured concrete floors in warehouses, asphalt of large industrial lots, maybe giant manicured lawns, etc. Read: flat, even, and not much by way of transitions. This thing **wants** to throw you off. It is EXTREMELY TIPPY. Also, HEAVY. Even with a seat adjustment, the center of gravity on this is completely unsuitable for anything other than “really very even.” Turning on anything other than flat PAVEMENT is way more of an adventure than you likely want. I would hate for this thing to be on top of me in the event I'd tip this thing over, and I almost certainly *would* eventually (Did I mention it's heavy? It weighs over 150lbs with the battery). So for my disabled brothers and sisters, unless you’re only mildly limited in your mobility abilities, AND HAVE DECENT CORE STRENGTH (I cannot emphasize this point enough, because in this equation, YOU'RE the one doing the balancing) this is not the droid for you. I got this to help me move more safely over my yard. This does the exact opposite (through no fault of its own). I can’t spend this kind of money on something that will help me injure myself further. I owe my family more wisdom than that. And again, this is of NO FAULT of the manufacturer. Some day some company will make a small utility mobility aid for people who need a bit of help in their average backyard. Until that time, we wait...

The item is very heavy. Be ready to deal with the heavy box. The instruction manual is extremely easy to understand. You need to be able to inflate the tires. You should have a good selection of hex wrenches. Full assembly took me two hours. Ran on first trial. Very sturdy and well made/ I am using it to transport my trash can up a steep driveway to the street, Climbs it well with me on it (200lbs). It works well to drive up to the mailbox easier and faster than I can walk. It will handle all the chores I have for it. Functionality: Climb steep driveway with trash payload and tree stumps.

I absolutely love this thing!! I use it to pull a wagon loaded with rocks or dirt or kids around my yard. It is really helpful. Took about a half hour to put together. It doesn’t like the rocks I have in some of my yard but it is stable and still does the job. I got two batteries for it and just swap them out as needed. If you have a big yard and need to move things around I recommend getting one.

Very disappointed with this unit. I have literally driven us like an eighth of a mile and a battery is half dead in a flat surface was all it could do to get up to three and a half miles an hour. It moves like a turtle and feels like it has absolutely no power I can't imagine pulling anything with it, and that is what I bought it for because it says it can pull $2,600 lb I really doubt it I don't think it could pull 100 lb.. Either this is a very poor unit or there is something wrong with mine. Also I feel it is very dangerous as I was unloading it off of my trailer which is only about a foot from the ground I'm thinking maybe a 25° Max angle maximum, it flipped over backwards on top of me and scraped and cut me up and hurt my back , and when driving along a small slope it feels like you are going to tip over sideways at the least little bit that it is not level. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. I really had such high hopes for this and there is no way I can return it because I already threw the Box away and even if I didn't there was no way I could figure out how to pack it back up to return it. I truly could not recommend this to anyone. And if you do get one from them I would get a four-wheel model this three-wheel model is so dangerous I'm half afraid to use it. Especially being 69 years old.
