Worked great, but the springs actually prevent you from drilling to a substantial depth. I took another reviewer’s advice and removed the springs, which helped tremendously.

Wow this is a nice tool. There’s indents so in “snaps” into place at 0 and every 15 degrees of angle. Very well machined. Have only used it for one hole just to test it out and it worked great. Hole is nice and straight. The return springs are a little stiff. I may take one side off and see how that works but other than that I can’t wait to take this out in the field and put it to use.

poorly built . has allot of sloop in the bearing so drill consistent straight holes is not possible.

I have not had opportunity to use this as yet, but it looks and feels of good quality. I have always valued having a drill press, but currently do not have space for a full size drill press. I think this will meet by needs.
