The fountain is smaller than the photos imply. I raised mine up on a square black slate planter that fortunately was about 2" wider than the base, so visually it all looks like it belongs together. What is great is the combination of water effects, the bubbling at the top and the water running down the twisted ridges. The effect is beautiful. The lighting is perfectly positioned. Design wise what is great is that there is no open bowl for leaves and debris to get into and clog the pump. The black ribbed section does sit above a reservoir, but there is a beige colored base that functions as a lid that will block most of the debris that typically falls into open fountains. I would think that this covered reservoir will also reduce evaporation, since the reservoir is shielded from direct sun. Oh - and the Amazon price was cheaper than Wayfair (they wanted around $266 or so, on "sale").

This is a nice fountain that is easy to set up. A little shorter than we wanted but we're going to put it on some blocks. Two issues are, I've tried using two plug in timers so it doesn't have to run all night. But both did not work. Also, we're having to replace water everyday. Can't believe it's evaporating that quickly but there doesn't appear to be a leak and don't think animals are getting to it but that's hard to tell.

We have received a handful of complaints on the fountain. Easy set up and company stands by their product. We had an issue with pump. No questions asked they helped solve the problem.

Small pieces of this fountain were broken off and scattered in the box. The fountain doesn't look like $300 should even without small pieces broken off. Don't know if it is easy to assemble or not since it was already broken on arrival.

Beautiful fountain. It was a bit shorter than I expected, but it is stunning. Water trickle isn't as loud as other fountains I have owned, which for some, could be a deal breaker as the running water sound is soothing while for others it can be a bother. Overall, very impressed!

This is a nice looking fountain, I like the size and design, However, as you can see from the photos I have this fountain indoors in my living as a memorial to my dad, I have a plate added to the fountain, however, I have had to clean this fountain out twice already within the last month I have to keep refilling with water because for some reason it evaporates and its not spilling out. The most troubling part of this fountain is the "slime" like that forms inside the fountain that builds up my best guess its algae but it is unacceptable, as much as this cost and your design has flaws this bad I wouldn't of purchased this...I do not know if anyone else has this issue but this is a low for me...this started out as something special but now its a inconvenience...don't purchase this item. Let me add it's difficult to clean the inside you can barely get your hands inside the fountain.

Love the fountain!!! Very beautiful, water sound is tranquil and great style. I bought for my yard but using it in my living room now. Will have to buy another for the yard.
