Why excellent! Here are the reasons. The package arrived on time. Packing is excellent, no product damage. There were no product blemishes. The instructions were simple. The setup was simple. It worked right out of the box. I can control the water flow to adjust the sound level. The operating tips were helpful. I was able to correct a vibration sound. I am using distilled water to reduce alga. The product is worth the price. Before I purchased this product, I did product research for five hours. The media could not be loaded. I love this fountain. Our old tabletop died after many years. Looked at a lot of them and chose this one. We have it across the room in a rather dim corner and it looks so great at night. We can hear the sounds just fine from where we are, also. The lights reflect on the top of the ledges and it looks like the interior of a cave. So peaceful! I love it. It didn't make a lot of sound when starting up the first time but give it some time to run and it will sound just fine everytime after that. You can fill it from the front by putting water in the lowest pond. Very easy.

I purchased this for my office, something relaxing to mellow this crazy environment out. Set up was easy, add water, slide the cover over the back and plug in. It splashed a little the 1st day, I found that adjusting the water level to a little lower took care of that. The 2nd day it was much better, but the pump started making an annoying noise and low and behold.. day 3 the pump stopped working. Visually, it's ok. It does not look like real rocks and wood but the paint job is fine for my purpose. I didn't expect it to be realistic. But really...pretty ticked off about the pump. Will be contacting the sellers.

I love this tabletop water fountain! I was totally expecting it to not work, or to stop working after a week (after reading all the negative reviews)....but it's been nearly 10 days, and it's still working. I only turn it on for about half an hour each day. I had to tighten all the tubes before plugging anything in, and filling it with water. The water didn't start pouring down when I plugged it in, and for a moment there I thought I got a defective item....but I replugged it, gave it some time....and voila! So far I can't complain. I add a little water to it every couple of days with distilled water, since it evaporates. My only complaint is that the back doesn't slide in easily (the part that covers all the tubes), so you can see it sticking out a little cause it doesn't close all the way. No biggie...no one notices it except me.

I ordered this in April and by September it was already not flowing water. I cleaned it multiple times to make sure there was no internal compaction, filled it full with dechlorinated water daily per instructions, checked the pump valve control to make sure it was on maximum flow, and even with all of that maintenance the pump seemingly is unable to operate per its intended purpose. So now its just a waterless rock. The pros are that the build quality of everything else minus the pump is good, but as such it does not justify the purchase until they implement a better and stronger pump, as even when it was operating as brand new the pump flow was lackluster at best. Save your money sadly.

Looks nice. Water flows well. Does have a slight mechanical sound which distracts from water flow sound. I splurged and bought this for 50 when i was holing to spend more like 30. My biggest problem with this, and the reason I am writing only a three star review is that it comes with a horrible chemical smell (And I am not one who normally is bothered by this). The warning label which I was unaware of before purchase says it contains a product known to the state of California to cause health problems. I probably would not have noticed the label except for the horrible smell. I would not want this out all the time due to questionable chemical exposure. We bought it for an annual holiday display so I may keep it to avoid nuisance of return. Again I’m not usually terribly picky about these things but the odor is extreme. If it doesn’t bother you it is otherwise a lovely fountain, thus my three star review.

One of the best fountains I've ever owned. Beautiful lighting and great sound. To make it less noisy, experiment with the position of the motor. Also, put a little bit of hydrogen peroxide in your fountain to keep it from clogging and use distilled water. Your fountain will run beautifully! No need for expensive algae treatments and peroxide will not harm pets or children.
