I would have given it a 2-star rating, but I am perplexed by how it got such a high rating in the first place. Every thing about this hammock is true. The materials are decent. It's nice-looking and easy to set up, but we can't use it. We've all fallen out of it! It flips like no other hammock we have, (we currently have 3). So, it's inoperable! It just sits there looking pretty and inviting, but if you try to lie in it you get tossed out like trash. and you're lucky if your head doesn't smack down on the metal legs. Our neighbor's son/friend has a lump on his head from when be was tossed around. Anyone else?

Not only is it shipped in a flimsy box that arrived broken and torn and thus plastic caps on the stand were broken... but it's a super flimsy hammock! I put it together to test it out and I had to stretch with all my might to get it to fit on the stand on the very last links of the chains, so you'd think it would be sturdy since it's stretched taught, right? Nope!! I sat on it and my but was on the middle bar and I'm WELL below the weight limit (275 lbs) listed in the description for both the stand and hammock. So how the description can be truthful when it says to enjoy it with a loved one is beyond confusing... The pillow has small stains and is crudely stuffed with uneven cheap fiberfill; it'll never make it through a wash and dry cycle of most machines. The cover seems okay but has small stains and the ties will need to be glued at the ends before washing if you don't want them to unravel as they didn't hem them, they're just raw edges. Overall this is not worth your money! Don't make the same mistake that I did. The box is ruined and Amazon won't let me return it without a box, so they're saying I'm stuck with it and out all of my money for this garbage.

Put it together easily but it’s all downhill from there. I carefully sat on the edge.Sank to the ground then flipped over, bashed my head, scraped my arm then had to figure out how to get out of the darn thing. Not a good start. I am replacing an old stand & hammock we loved. If youvehad a good one....this one is junk. Crossbars are almost half as long as my old stable frame. If I keep this one I’ll need 4 weight bags to stabilize it. The person in the picture (hidden by the large hat) must be a child. I don’t see how 2 average adults could get in & out safely and if they got in, not drag on the ground it’s so stretchy. The pillow is too small - only one person can fit. The pad is hot & rough. Not smooth & cooling as I had hoped. I’m very disappointed but it so difficult to ship back I’ll probably try to Make it work or sell the stand and hang hammock on a tree & a post. Wish I’d paid a little more and ordered a different one.

Super easy to set-up. I was shocked. Had a funky “China” smell initially but I sprayed with febreeze and used a few times— smell is gone. Plenty of room for two average adults although you do need to get balanced after the 2nd person gets in. The pad is critical because the fabric has a plastic-like feel and is very stretchy. Also it adds comfort. My dog loves the pillow to prop her diva head. Lightweight that I can take the hammock in/out without much issue or upper body strength. I also like dragging it to different parts of my yard as I chase the shade. I was surprised that such a simple concept for the metal stand would really work, but it does (granted I am not swinging on it like kids). Solid buy. I’ve been using for a few weeks.

I purchased this in July of 2016, and have used it MANY times each season. I've gone from keeping the hammock in my trunk, to keeping it inside, and back. The Frame is still in amazing shape. I took it apart for the first winter, but left it together for subsequent winters. I've laid on it with and without the mat. I'm in NY, so it has been through some weather. I love this item, and am so incredibly happy with it. (also, purchased the green/white, and it is true to color)

My wife has always wanted a hammock, but we don't have trees situated in a way that we could set one up. I had always considered getting one on a frame, but thought it might look tacky. When my wife was in the middle of an extremely stressful time, I realized that it was time to get her a hammock, and I found this one on Amazon. First off, it was very easy to put together, and it requires no tools. It will be very easy to take apart in the winter to store in the garage. Despite the ease of assembly, it seems very sturdy and well made. Next, it doesn't look tacky in the yard at all. We have it sitting under our shade tree, and it looks nice, especially with the nice pad it came with. But most importantly, it was probably the best $130 we've ever spent. It was just what the doctor ordered for my wife. In a time of stress and anxiety, this hammock has been a place of solace for her. I highly recommend this hammock for anyone who has room for it.

It arrived quickly and in perfect condition and was so easy to set up — I did it by myself in under 10 minutes. There are 2 curved leg pieces and 3 bars that simply snap into place so you don’t even need a screwdriver. I ended up putting both sides on the first chain link to make it shorter. I started with it on the last link on both sides but when my 65-lb dog got in with me, my backside was on the bottom bar. Moving to the first link fixed the problem and made it easier to get in and out of, too. It’s very comfortable and sturdy enough for my 230-lb husband. I didn’t expect it to be this nice, especially since it was the least expensive hammock+stand I found, but I’m so glad I got it. We love it!
