I purchased this to cover an area on my shop roof that I am in the process of re-roofing. It did the job well. If I needed a tarp that would be out in the sun every day and still hold up after a year or more of continuous use, I'd probably look for something heavier duty.

This tarp was the poorest tarp I ever bought . By January we had retied it down twice and then found it completely shredded and laying on the ground leaving several broken parts on my camper and leaving a vent exposed to the weather. I replaced it with a custom cover.

I could have gotten exactly what I wanted at H.D., but I get so tired of making trips to that store. Then, a brainstorm: order from Amazon, another couple days won't matter. Well it arrives and the whole thing is rolled out, looking for the tacking nails inside. There's NONE! I'm not packing up this monster to take to P.O......I'm too old. So this means the dreaded trip to H.D., after all. More time, more gas, more money, plus delay in getting roof covered. Why don't they simply charge $10 extra dollars, include the tacks (for those that need), and save their customers frustration and aggravation. I'm sorry, but that's the truth of the way it is.....for me, anyway. ... show more

Roof started leaking right before winter so I didn’t have time to put a new roof on. The daughter and I popped this tarp in the roof and we’ve had no leaks. In a few weeks I’ll be tearing it off and reshingling. It was a lifesaver.
