The fountain is so beautifully made no one has noticed that it's plastic and I don't tell them! I purchased the "earth" color and the shading and color really makes for an "old-world" look. Once I placed the fountain in my landscaped area that has very large hosta plants, the fountain didn't seem tall enough to me, the bottom 1/3 got gobbled up by the plants. I placed the fountain on an overturned whiskey barrel planter that is nestled hidden in the hostas and other large plants and now the fountain really stands out as a focal point in the garden. I just wanted to mention that the fountain is not as very tall. It arrived without damage, but there was no assembly instructions included in my box. I was going to contact to the company, but it really was so intuitive and easy to put together that it wasn't necessary. I did find a PDF of instructions on the company's website. Also remember it only runs in full sun and when it is on, it makes a delightful trickling sound. The birds in my yard love it!

First of all, i love...love fountains! This fountain is beautiful! looks heavy but it is not, the water falls sounds so relaxing. I placed it next to my gazebo, in my backyard. it is so nice to look at and the sound of the water. works as i wanted to, turns on with the sun and off when there is none. Good height too, i can just leave it on the ground or i could also set on a little pedestal to look a little taller, but on the ground looks just as good too. very easy to put together and the power cord is long enough that you can set up the solar charger far away from it if you need to.i am very happy with my purchase! The fountain still looks great, some paint coming off but the color hides it and it gives an old rustic look, which i love. However, we had some heavy rain recently. i placed the solar panel face up to avoid getting it wet. Somehow, water got into the battery compartment and the batteries got wet. The pump is useless now, the battery compartment should be sealed better to avoid leaks into. Now i am back in amazon looking for a replacement. :-(

DO NOT BUY. I bought mine May of 2024. There were a couple of broken pieces rattling around inside, but since you couldn't see it I didn't worry about it. Worked okay last year, though the solar panel doesn't switch to battery automatically. The fountain was taken apart, batteries removed and it was stored for winter. This year the batteries will not run the fountain, even when switched out with new ones. The solar panel has to be turned on to the solar setting every day. The panel shuts itself off. Oh and the paint is peeling from it, everywhere. Do not buy. Not worth the money! Replacement solar panel kit is $70....Nope.

This is very light, making it extremely easy to empty and clean by tipping over. The pieces don't stay together very well when you do, but reassembly is not hard. Birds love this, both to drink from the rim and bathing in the shallow basins. Even hummingbirds hover and lap at the water coming out of the top. The cord to the solar panel is pretty short, so it needs to be nearby, and you get nothing when it is cloudy. Also, it needs to be leveled perfectly, which can be difficult for something so light, for the water to fall evenly around the rims.

We've had this for a couple of months now. It's doing a great job! As soon as the sun hits the solar panel, it's ON. Set your expectations... this is not connected to a continuous power supply. It comes and goes with the sun. It's solar powered. :D We love the look of it... and it's really a great bargain. Works perfectly. I didn't know it was going to be below freezing temps last night. I went out to check on it today and both tiers had a layer of ice on them. The fountain was flowing as if nothing had happened. (The pump was below the ice.) I'll take the pump out for the winter tomorrow. But, I'm so thrilled with its performance so far!

I purchased this in Oct. 2020. It was very easy to assemble and even though it is really lite, it's pretty sturdy. The reason for my review is that I noticed that I was not running, my first thought was ohh pump gone out, but turned to battery and worked fine. Solar panel was in direct sunlight . I called customer service and they were great, asked couple questions and sent me new panel out right away. Like I told them, you just don't find service like that anymore.

Edit, spring 2026- again I want to say the " new" design of the top piece is ridiculous. The tube for the water is permanently attached inside so you have to hold it and the second level piece somehow together to attach the hose to the pump. With nothing connecting the top 2 pieces, it's very difficult. Not a good design at all. The first one I bought, the finish came off within just a month or so when trying to clean it, rubbed the paint off in numerous places. I reached out to customer service and they sent me a replacement fountain. I didn't open it for quite a while, but when I did found that the top piece no longer locks in place. Why they would design it to just" sit" on top with no way to hook it on is beyond me. Other than that, I love it. The solar panal works great
