I'm 6'1 and 180 lbs, and needed a mat that would fit my frame. I wanted a longer mat (a 3'x8' would be perfect), but for the price and the amount of room I have to store it, this mat was the best bang for the buck, even if it is just a tad too short. The 24" mats were too narrow for me since the edge of my shoulders and arms would lay on the floor when doing exercises. The next mat up from this that I could find was a 4'8', and that was just too much mat for me. The one thing I really like about this mat is that it is firm, and also that it comes in black. I can slide it under my couch and since it's not a bright blue or bright red, it doesn't detract from the living room decor. I didn't want a mat that was too soft or too hard, and this one seems to fall right in the Goldilocks zone, just right. It folds up really easy, and there is a velcro strip on the side walls. This velcro strip will let you add another mat next to it, or you can just press the handles (that also have velcro on them) into the sidewalls when it's folded up and that will help keep it secure on one side. You can't secure the other side, but with one side secure it keeps all folded-up pretty good. It's like a built-in strap without them putting a strap on it. The handles work well too and haven't gotten in my way while doing exercises. When it's unfolded, you can press the handles into the sidewalls so they don't get in the way of your workout. It's vinyl and easy to clean, just spray and wipe. I'm marking the mat down a star because one of the vinyl panels is a little looser than the other two. It'd be great if they were all nice and tight, but they're not. The person making it just needed to pay more attention to detail; I'm sure this will vary by mat. It works though, and I'll continue to use it. The looseness of one panel could annoy some if you're going to be jumping and moving around on it a lot. Since I only use it for ab work, it's not an issue. FYI, this mat is not good for yoga as you'll want something more firm. I've been using it for P90x and it works fine, with the exception of the Yoga part of course. If you're going to do P90x and want just one mat, get a Manduka Yoga Mat. If you have any questions about this mat that I haven't addressed, just ask in the comments and I'll try and respond promptly. ... show more

We bought two mats in different sizes since both my husband and I have had knee replacement surgery and find it difficult to kneel. An added bonus is that these mats fold up and have cloth handles. They are very easy to carry and although they don't roll up they do lay flat for easy storage. The mats are thick enough to make kneeling comfortable and easy to move and store. We haven't had ours long enough to know how durable they are but so far so good. ... show more

Ordered one 3*6 & 2*6.. to put together for a playroom but they're way different. The 3*6 is great. Easy to clean. Plastic-ish material. super firm.. now the 2*6.. not the same length short by maybe 2 inches. No Velcro which I didn't realize. But it's like a nylon fabric. So "plush". My son might feel the floor if he falls on it. Returning for sure for the larger one. Don't waste your money or time on the small one. ... show more

As much as I don't like to give bad reviews ---- This product was packed out of the protective plastic bag, with Gym white chalk powder all over. Easy to fold but impossible to securely close because the velcro flap is incorrectly placed. Also, one of the corners is already tearing from the seam. BUT, I use it for Yoga and floor exercise and it is comfortable and give adequate cushioning to the body. Not a 10 but 7.5 will be a fare rating. ... show more
