When I first opened it, it looked huge and I had second thoughts. But it went up and looks good. My son is 6'10" and I've replaced ceiling fans and hanging chandeliers due to him before. This is closer to the ceiling than I thought and not on borrowed time. The Engrish instructions are... brief, but adequate for installation. It is NOT hanging from the ceiling electrical box. Rather suspended from an X shaped frame bolted into the ceiling with four bolts and anchors included. The remote is nice to turn it off and no, dim, or set different color temperatures. There is a timer function on the remote. We tried that and when we got back home it was off. The time frame for it is unknown. Doesn't appear to get too hot, which was a concern of mine. Haven't really used it a lot yet: remodeling kitchen, popcorn ceilings, fencing, stuff. But overall this has turned out very nice. ... show more

Purchased the 24" and it definitely took 2 people to install. The instructions need to be more defined for the "non-electrical" experts. Luckily, the wires on the light were labeled and pretty easy to figure out what goes to what. The edges of this are sharp so caution is needed when handling it - hence the gloves that were included. It's the perfect size for my living room and doesn't make it look too much like a nail salon. Light settings are nice and easy to adjust with the remote. My ceilings are only 9' so for a flush mount, this light has just enough length to look aesthetically nice. I would recommend. ... show more

En mi caso fue bastante complicado ponerla, pues no comprendíamos muy bien las instrucciones, miramos el video pero se brinca un paso, que es como se coloca con detalles la cruz que lleva, que es la que sostiene la lámpara, al final logramos instalarla, aunque nos sobraron pieza de instalación, no se si esté bien, o sea para colocarla de diferente manera dependiente el techo que tengas.
