I just needed a standing lamp for my teenage son's room for when the bright ceiling light was too much. This one was easy to put together and includes the lightbulb which has 3 different shades of white light. Part of the assembly is velcro to attach the cord to the poles so it is less noticeable. It gives off a nice soft light and will work in the space. Arrived as expected with the instructions and tool needed for assembly included in the small box that was light enough to carry upstairs. The corner fit is perfect for the space requirements in my room, along with the ability to use the shelves on it as a mini storage space. My father set this up for me, so I am unsure about how easy it is, but he did have a bit of a hiccup with it on the instructions, but ultimately figured it out and it wasn't super difficult at all. When you quickly pull down on the thing twice, you have the options between a warmer lighting tone, or a cool almost clinical type lighting. Overall, it looks very nice and it also helps with space! Easy to put together, took me less than half an hour. Looks good, very modern and pretty. Best of all, it isn't one of those cheap pole lamps that bend and wobble on a heavy base. It's solid, on a square. The shelves make it possible to decorate in my style. Its a really, really nice lamp.
