I am a professional cleaner and the length of these gloves help keep up to my elbow dry. However after several wears there is a substance on the interior that comes off when you take the gloves off.

They’re like the gloves used in Korean dramas by produce sellers! They’re kind of hard to bend in the fingers, but I think they’ve loosened up over time. They came with a bit of smell. After you use the gloves, your hands get a little powdery and smell like the inner glove.

So these are really long-- with a kind of felt-like finish inside. They come all the way up to my elbows--and have a good but not tight elasticity to the cuffs--so there are no worries about getting water or cleaning chemicals in from that direction. They go on easy, come off easy, and since they didn't get wet inside, are easier to fold over a bar in the kitchen and drip dry fast. But--they could still be pierced easily while doing chores (i.e. washing knives or other sharp objects), and I suppose if you didn't pay attention taking them off, you could tear them easily enough with enough tension. I'm waiting to see how durable these really are, as I've had other gloves in the past that even "melted" once when placed over the undersink door, leaving a sticky mess behind that was difficult to remove. I'm thinking there must have been a chemical reaction that caused that incident, but "yikes!" Especially since I wasn't using any exotic chemicals in the kitchen). So far, I am really happy with these, although I admit I think they're a bit costly for a pair of cleaning gloves. If they last a long time, then I'll be satisfied with the price paid. ... show more
