Update: While I still had the issues below, the seller contacted me through Amazon and was extremely helpful. I wasn’t sure this could be resolved to my satisfaction, but they really went above and beyond to make sure that it was. While I’m currently waiting on a replacement part, the lamp looks nice when fully set up and I have to appreciate a company that sets things right when they go wrong. Original review: Initially, the lamp did not work. Neither the matching nor decoding processes yielded any result after multiple attempts. Nothing in the instructions even says what "decoding" is supposed to do. Full assembly and messing with this took about 45 minutes before I gave up. I purchased and tried a different lightbulb. Now the lamp turns on, but the remote does not work. Still, the matching and decoding processes did not do anything. Since the dimming function was important for my purpose, this makes the lamp pretty useless for me. ... show more

If I put this together, you can believe it was easy. My 12 yo son assisted. Perfect lamp for him. Love how the lightbulb offers cool white light or warm white light options. The remote control and the night light timer feature were my main reasons for buying it but everything else about it turned out to be great too. The grey-brown finish even matches his furniture and now he has a few more shelves to store and display those things boys like to collect! ... show more

    • Great lamp, just get a new lightbulb

Easy to assemble, nice and sturdy lamp. The only complaint, (not a big one) is the lightbulb it came with changes brightness EVERY time you pull the switch or turn it on from a light switch hooked up to an outlet. I just swapped the lightbulb for a different one and it no longer does that.

I bought this lamp and a very similar one from Walmart, and this one isn’t made with as much quality. It will move easily depending on where you put it. This was very easy to assemble and it’s perfect glow is great for middle of the night walks around the house.

Having built-in storage within the lamp is great in a small space. I like the finish of the frame and shelves. The only thing that could be improved is the cord placement. It would be better to thread it through one of the legs rather than Velcro strips along the frame.

It gives exactly as detailed. 3 different lighting shades. I put a small prayer plant on one shelf and grandkids photos on another one. Bottom shelf has my internet box. Not too difficult to put together until the light bulb unit and that wing nut which was a problem. Directions and pictures are lacking in how to do that. Chain broke with first pull. Like the shelves and the design . Seems sturdy enough

This lamp is much better thank it’s plastic counterparts, construction feels much more stable. Took about 10-12 minutes to assemble. Didn’t like that the power cord doesn’t tuck into one of the metal legs and the velcro tabs were a better quality (cable/zip ties would be better).
