They didn't ship the allens needed, so I had to use cheap Dollar store allen wrenches. They are very rigid, some sort of non-ferrous metal. You cannot spread them out with pliers too much. The only adjustment is those shims. The clear plastic covers are hard to get off. They "look" spiffy. Had to buy ferrules. I wish they'd ship with several sets of shims for both the posts, and the wires. The metal is some sort of non-ferrous metal. A magnet has no effect on them. They are marked + or -. So-not interchangeable. This is kind of unsettling. I got 'em on. Gonna yank them back off soon, too, when I get the new cables. Gonna replace the wiring on my Honda car. These are not as adjustable as the old style connectors. ... show more

These worked well and were easy to install. You need Allen wrenches to do it, though. I used these to replace a set of cheap quick disconnect ones. Stay away from those and get these.

Put these on my diesel pickup. The cables would not fit into the terminal as they were to large for the hole supplied on the terminal. Made a few modifications to make it fit and work. Just wish the holes were a little bigger to accommodate large cables.
