The packaging was fantastic i thought i was getting married to it fancy fitted foam and Shiney new terminals. They feel kinda light not sure if that's bad or good at the moment. Works great for what I'm working with. Looks clean with no issues. Used for a hour hard with two L7 15s and still cool to the touch. I only needed the positive due to coyote swap needs two larger slots.... I needed a 3rd for a amp.

May 11th UPDATE; Well here is my update review after the install and a 100 mile trip. To put this in perspective I drive a 2006 ram 2500 diesel truck. Some of you may know but others may not that the diesel requires two batteries, therefore I bought two pairs of these terminals. One of the terminals (+) had come loose and jumped off the battery during driving. There is no danger of arcing anywhere because the cable is retained at a short length and there’s nothing for it to make contact with. Anyway the other three held nice and tight and only one of the positive cables had come loose. I inspected it and reinstalled, tightened it . It seems solid like before and I’ll see if it holds secure after I go on another ride this Friday (5/13) if it’s actually going to hold. So to sum it up three out of four isn’t bad but it’s also not very assuring. Here are pictures of after the first installation , then the inspection showing the cable to jumped off the terminal, and then the reattachment. —————————————————————-—— The terminals are solid, would be easier to install IF Allen wrench(s) we’re included and without price markup. These were tapered tips terminals but when tightening they did slide up the terminal each time. I simply reset. Then tightened with top down pressure. That seems to work. The aluminum is great, the plastic coating/clear tape needs more thought. It peeled at the edges during installation. I am otherwise OK with this purchase.

Installation was on a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup with Cummins diesel dual batteries . Products arrived and look sharp. But for me they have some flaws. I come from a mechanical background been working on cars in a professional setting for most of my life. I am not a newbie to this. The issues that I find with this particular product mainly are the clamp part of the battery terminal. I personally use Dielectric grease for a corrosion deterrent when installing battery post. After cleaning the battery post and adding the Dielectric grease I installed the new clamps. It did not matter how tight I made them almost putting so much force to them that I could damage the battery post they would still spin. So I remove them cleaned off all the grease Scuff the battery terminal again and scuffed up the inside of the new terminal to create friction. I then reinstalled without the greese and tighten the clamp. This helps some but was still not great. I proceeded to get a ratchet with a Allen bit and really crank down on them probably good enough to get by, maybe... but I could still wiggle them. That's pretty much a no-go for me. I like for my battery post to be tight stationary and have no risk of accidentally coming loose or popping off the post. The cables on this truck are large 2/0 and need to be secured well. I believe if on the inside of the terminal there was some type of striations or small teeth to grip the terminal a little better when tightened would definitely make a better product. I also have some concerns on what type of impact corrosion is going to have on these terminals due to the type of material they are made of. I so wanted to like this product they look great. But not for sure that I am going to keep them

Update: 10/08/20 so after installing these ive found they are not true 1/0, my sky high 1/0 ofc wire was too large to fit so i had to actually trim down a good bit of the wire to make them fit and the rubber around the wire dont fit into the terminals like i hoped so there wouldn't be bare copper showing.. i uploaded a picture to show what i mean. But otherwise they are still nice n ill use them until I decide to upgrade to something else. Other wire brands are sometimes smaller so this may not be a big deal for others. Definitely wasn't expecting these to come in a nicely packed box. Usually getting something like this itll just be tossed into a bag n shipped in padded envelope. They come nicely boxed and each one has protective film on them. Definitely very nice and worth every penny. Cant wait to install them. Thank you.
