It’s a very good vise for any kind of knife work. Handle or blade related. Quite heavy and solid. Only problem is that arrived scratched in a few places and for the cost of it you expect it to be spotless. Amazon replaced it no questions asked as usual with any damaged goods. The freedom or rotation and angles is very good. Also the fact of having the blade completely encased in the vise while working the handles. It’s quite good to avoid accidents.

The pin to plate spot welds were broke upon opening the package. I applied my own welds and it now seems very sturdy. The aluminum was scratched up as well. I think the company has a good design, but they certainly do not have a quality control system in place and should beef up their packaging. I wouldn’t buy again based on this experience.
