The SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 has been performing exceptionally well across multiple functional prints. Dimensional accuracy is strong, layer bonding is uniform, and surface finish remains smooth even on taller parts. I’m currently using it to build a riser kit and tilt kit for my AMS 2 Pro, and the parts are holding tolerances that align perfectly with my hardware. From a printability standpoint, the filament runs clean with minimal stringing at ~205–215°C and 60°C bed on a 0.4 nozzle. Flow behavior is stable, and extrusion remains consistent over long print jobs without visible under-extrusion artifacts. Supports remove predictably without tearing surface layers, and bridging holds shape without sagging once tuned. Mechanically, this PLA+ strikes a good balance between stiffness and toughness for functional assemblies. Threads cut cleanly, press-fit joints hold, and fasteners seat without cracking. Warping has been negligible, which is important for alignment-critical builds like risers and tilt mounts. Moisture sensitivity seems lower than typical PLA variants; after sitting a few days out of the bag, it still printed cleanly, but storing it dry is still recommended for best results. Color uniformity across prints has also been consistent, which matters when parts are visible. I am really impressed with SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 filament. After printing multiple projects with it, it has become one of my go-to filaments for both functional parts and display models. The things I really like are its consistent printing performance, excellent layer adhesion, smooth extrusion, and the fact that I haven't experienced any clogging or tangling from the spool. The filament is wound neatly, which makes long prints much less stressful. Print quality is outstanding. Surfaces come out smooth with crisp details, and bridges and overhangs perform better than I expected from a PLA-based material. I have not experienced any warping, making it easy to print even larger parts. Where this filament really stands out is its toughness. Compared to standard PLA, finished parts feel noticeably stronger and less brittle. That extra durability makes it a great choice for functional prints, brackets, tool holders, and other parts that need to withstand regular use instead of simply looking good. SUNLU also markets PLA+ 2.0 as offering significantly improved toughness and support for higher print speeds, and my experience has been consistent with those claims. I've printed it on an Elegoo Centauri Carbon, and it has performed exceptionally well with minimal tuning. Once the profile was dialed in, the prints were consistent from spool to spool. Overall, SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 delivers an excellent combination of print quality, strength, reliability, and value. Whether you're new to 3D printing or have years of experience, it's a filament that's easy to recommend.

This is pretty strong stuff and easy to print for being able to use without an enclosure and no smells. It's not quite as good at certain things as the more difficult and stinky plastics but it has very good all around performance and it's miles ahead of regular pla. It's not good for direct sunlight or wet environments, but otherwise great. I use it for most of my fabrication projects. These are always neatly wound and I never have tangles. This material absorbs moisture slowly so it can be kept sitting out in climate controlled rooms for longer than a roll ever lasts me. I buy multiple rolls and the price is good. If you dial in your settings you can get some remarkably strong prints with a good finish. I had to recover the internal weights from a print to reprint and needed two pairs of pliers and a hammer to get them out. It does suffer from a small amount of warping so a warm room and/or adhesion enhancers are recommended for large thin pieces.

I’ve been really impressed with SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 filament. It prints just as easily as regular PLA, but the finished parts feel noticeably stronger and less brittle. My prints come out with a clean surface and consistent layers, and I’ve had very few issues with clogging or tangling thanks to the neatly wound spool. Another thing I like is how forgiving it is with settings. It works well around typical PLA temperatures (about 195–220 °C) and sticks nicely to the bed without much warping, so it’s great for both beginners and experienced makers. The dimensional accuracy is solid (around ±0.02 mm), which helps parts fit together properly. It also handles faster printing speeds surprisingly well while still keeping good detail, which saves time on larger projects. Overall, if you want a filament that’s easy to print with but stronger than standard PLA, SUNLU PLA+ 2.0 is a reliable choice for everything from functional parts to display models. Definitely one I’ll keep using.

Sunlu PLA+2.0 has been such a reliable variety that it has become my preferred filament. I've gone through several spools worth and order black, white, and grey 2kg at a time (doesn't hurt that at 2kg you often get a much better per spool price.) Is it any better than basic PLA? I don't know, but it's been very forgiving of less than optimal print settings. I find 220/60 to be optimal for speed and quality of print. Filament winding is smooth and trouble free. The spool is re-usable and none of this model spools I've encountered have popped open.

I bought this Sunlu 8-pack of mini spools specifically to handle a small job requiring a few accent colors. It seemed like a convenient, cost-effective bundle, but it ended up being an absolute nightmare for my setup. This filament snapped, shredded, and bound up inside my original AMS unit, jamming it up so severely that I still haven't been able to get it properly sorted out. Thinking the issue might be moisture or aging hardware, I threw the spools in the dryer, went out and bought a brand-new AMS 2 Pro, and gave it another shot. Same exact result. The filament snapped inside the feed path of the brand-new unit, forcing me to completely disassemble the new AMS 2 Pro just to pick out all the broken bits and clear the jam. Even after proper drying, the material is wildly brittle and completely unreliable for PTFE tubes or motorized multi-material feeders. I barely used any of it, and now I'm throwing the entire 8-pack straight in the trash because it’s just not worth the hassle. I’ve already replaced it all with actual Bambu spools—which is what I probably should have done from the very beginning. Save yourself the headache and the teardown time: avoid these mini spools.

This is my favorite filament for printing on my Bambu Labs P1S in the AMS unit. It hasn't failed me ever and I switched to this stuff about a year ago. Has never clogged or been stringy or anything - it's just reliable AND affordable! Highly recommended if you are using an AMS unit!
