I went through a lot of frustration with Elegoo PETG. Even after drying, it stayed inconsistent — popping, stringing, zits, and random surface defects, especially on long prints and tall parts. Gridfinity boxes were the worst: blobs and surface artifacts no matter how much tuning I did. After switching to Sunlu PETG, everything finally stabilized. I dried it 12 hours at 65 °C, loaded it, and the difference was obvious. Once dry, Sunlu PETG stays consistent for long prints with no popping, no zits, and no mid-print flow changes. I’m running a Bambu Lab H2D, and this filament works great on both: 0.4 standard nozzle 0.6 high-flow nozzle Big parts, long runtimes, and functional prints finish clean without babysitting. ✅ Exact Settings That Worked for Me (Bambu Studio) If PETG has been giving you grief, these settings completely solved it for me. 🔥 Temperatures Nozzle: 250 °C Bed: 50 °C 📏 Line Widths 0.4 Standard Nozzle Default: 0.42 mm Outer wall: 0.42 mm Inner wall: 0.45 mm Sparse infill: 0.45 mm Internal solid infill: 0.42 mm 0.6 High-Flow Nozzle Default: 0.72 mm Outer wall: 0.60 mm Inner wall: 0.72 mm Sparse infill: 0.78 mm Internal solid infill: 0.72 mm 🌬️ Cooling First 3 layers: Fan 0% Min fan: 20% @ 25 s layer time Max fan: 30% @ 8 s layer time Keep fan always on: ✅ Slow down for better layer cooling: ✅ Force cooling for overhangs/bridges: ❌ Aux fan: 0% These settings eliminated zits and surface artifacts entirely. ⚙️ Volumetric Flow (Important) 0.4 nozzle: ~24 mm³/s 0.6 HF nozzle: ~30–33 mm³/s High-flow nozzles cut several hours off large prints without sacrificing quality. 🧲 Adhesion (What Stopped Tall Prints From Lifting) This was huge for long Gridfinity prints: I used small “rabbit ears” / corner brims only (not a full brim) Just enough to lock down the corners and prevent lift Easy to remove and doesn’t trash the bottom surface 🧱 Other Settings That Helped Wall order: Outer → Inner Avoid crossing walls: ON 🧠 Final Thoughts Elegoo PETG gave me constant moisture-related and consistency issues, even after drying and tuning. Once properly dried, Sunlu PETG prints clean, stable, and predictably, even on long prints and large parts. It’s the first PETG I’ve used where the tuning actually stays dialed in. I’ve already stocked up on multiple spools and will keep using it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent PETG Filament with Fast, Reliable Performance! I’ve been very impressed with the SUNLU High Speed PETG Filament 4KG Bundle. The filament prints smoothly and consistently, even at higher speeds, with excellent layer adhesion and a strong, durable finish. It’s a great choice for both functional parts and larger projects. The 1 kg spools were neatly wound, which helped prevent tangles and kept printing hassle-free. I experienced minimal stringing after dialing in my printer settings, and the finished prints had a clean, professional appearance with vibrant, consistent color. The 4 kg bundle is also a great value, especially if you print frequently. Having multiple spools on hand means I can keep projects going without worrying about running out of filament. If you're looking for dependable, high-quality PETG that performs well on high-speed printers and produces strong, great-looking prints, I highly recommend the SUNLU High Speed PETG Filament Bundle. Solid value for the price. You can get some pretty solid results with this filament, and the less glossy finish is a huge plus, especially if using the matte black. It is VERY hygroscopic though, for best results these need to be dried a solid 6-8 hours before use, even after just opening up the package.

I have used Sunlu filament for several years. It was a good, low-cost filament and great for prototyping. However, they began to change the spools that the filament was shipped on. The new spools have a much thinner / more flexible sidewall, which allows the filament to slip between the sidewall and the spool. The filament gets pinched, stopping the printing process, causing artifacts, and failing prints. It also allows the filament to get tangled on the spool, causing even more feeding issues. Also, the spool's diameter is noticeably less than that of the other manufacturers. The spool's diameter and thin/slick edges are not wide enough to engage the AMS drive wheels reliably. I use Bambu Lab AMS systems and now have significant issues with spool slippage on Sunlu brands (all other brands I'm using work perfectly). I could try using it without an AMS or respooling it, but both are a waste of my time when I need to focus on design and production. Bottom line, I will no longer purchase Sunlu filament as it causes far too many reliability and production issues. I moved on to a new manufacturer with cardboard spools and haven't had a second's worth of problems (as well as being environmentally friendly). I'll update my review if I hear back from Sunlu. Thanks.

So it's really hard to leave a review on this because my review is really dedicated to my poor experience with one of the four colors I've used two of these colors and they all of them seem fine but off the back I was a little bit disappointed by the pink because it looks pretty different from what's pictured but I decided you know let me give it a try it might brighten up or something when I print with it well that didn't happen and this pink is almost transparent. I'm currently making a little project for my daughter and you know I had all the colors I needed I kind of shopped around saw the pink that was inside of this kid and decided to go with it well that was a poor decision because this is not good color at all for what it's for I mean what this thing it needs to be it'll work but I'm not happy I can't say that I am other than that it does print nicely I did dry it first and so far I can see myself buying you know couple rolls more of the sun lose stuff.

Great stuff I have went to mostly petg printing and love it. Sunlu always prints perfect never have an issue. Just make sure you always dry it first although it is dry when I open a new roll I still throw it in dryer for a while before I ever use it just to make sure and have never had a single issue to date

as expected. prints great. i make sure I pull the spool off my printer and back into a ziplock with desiccant when I'm done printing for the day to prevent moisture absorption .
