For those of us on the original Gen 1 AMS, this is a welcome upgrade. The newer AMS has built-in drying and now we can get that functionality too. Installation is easy, maybe 20 minutes, and it requires no permanent modifications to the AMS. It even comes with a long hex wrench. Best part is it works while you're printing, so there's no downtime waiting for filament to dry. Nice added benefit is that it actually dries my dessicant too. Just select your preset, let it run, filament is dry, everyone's happy. My only gripe is the vent could be bigger and ideally there would be a a small fan to actively exhaust the warm, moist air out. It works without it, but that would make it even better. Still, this beats having a separate standalone filament dryer sitting next to your printer. Much cleaner setup.

Works better than expected, other than there is no grab handle on the ams dryer which makes it akward to open and close. The functionality of the dryer works good.

Works great, RH staying steady < 30 %. Where I live it is quite humid. My house humidity is typically 50-60%. These SunLu heaters are keeping my filament at around 28% and that’s after they have been shut off!! If they are actively running after the first hour or so my RH is usually right at 20%. I don’t believe these units are capable if recording lower as I have a hygrometer in my AMS that reports it at between 15-18% when the heater shows 20%. These are terrific!!

I’ve been waiting for this to go on sale for a while, and at the $50 price point, it was an absolute steal for my Bambu Lab AMS. It’s a great upgrade for keeping filament dry and ready to go. The installation is where things got a bit frustrating. The hex screws were a major pain to remove and reinstall, largely because the included hex tool isn't magnetized. I found myself dropping the tiny screws constantly, which is never fun when you're working in tight spaces. I eventually had to grab my own magnetic screwdriver just to get the screws into the holes before tightening them down with the hex tool. Once it's actually installed, it works exactly as advertised and fits the Gen 1 AMS perfectly. If you can get it on sale, it’s a no-brainer—just save yourself the headache and use a magnetic driver from the start!

Game changer. I always found it to be a pain to use a stand alone drier for my filament, so then I would just avoid drying it altogether. Enter this magical thing. Super easy to install, remove 4 screws, swap out the hinges for new ones, put 4 screws back in. Easy peasy. I also ordered a wifi surge protector for these and my printers to be on at the same time to avoid overload. Side note, someone mentioned that the "bottom part" did not come with this. Well, folks, that's the AMS that you are swapping out the lid for and it's not supposed to come with it. IDK why people don't read things.

The Sunlu AMS Heater in my opinion works well. To me the most important is knowing a company stands behind their products. The customer service at Sunlu was phenomenal. They responded quickly and addressed an issue I had immediately. I will definitely continue to buy their products.
