Quiet-ish, affordable, super useful
Super easy to install, relatively quiet- enough that it doesn't bother if you leave filament to dry overnight. Additionally, the interface is relatively easy to figure out, even without the instruction pamphlet (included by the way); Just assign which material you are drying, the temp you would like, and for how long. Make sure that the settings are dialed in, it can distort the filament if you choose the wrong option.

Mounted this on my AMS system super easy to do. Fitment was spot on. Easy to use dries my filament, not to loud. And I don’t need a separate dryer.

Great if you can get it on sale.
This item is great if you already have the AMS. If not you can still use it by printing a box for it. The nice thing about this is that you can print while drying. Seals well for me I haven’t had any issues there. My only complaint is that you have to toggle the vent. Look out for sales on this there’s frequently a coupon for under $50. and you won’t find a 4 spool dryer for that price anywhere.

Nice addition to Gen 1 AMS.
The AMS heater is a great add on if you have a gen 1 AMS. I have 5 of them and really like that they can dry while printing. The only issue I've had is using PLA while drying. The preheating from drying caused heat creep in my nozzle since the pla was already warmed.

doesn't vent out the humidity.
AMS Heater does heat up but the vent holes are too small. You are heating up your filament but that resulting humidity that you're pulling out from the filament needs to go somewhere. The small vent holes do nothing to vent and you need to remember to close them after you've sufficiently dried your filament.

Very nice addition to my printing setup
Prime day suckered me in with a crazy low price and I bought it. I was already eyeballing it at regular price. I did need a longer AMS cable and tube to be able to move my AMS off to the side of my printer. Assembly of the heater took about 10 minutes. I let it run a few times in the first few days and so far it's keeping the humidity much lower in the AMS. The only thing that I wish it had different would be an automatic open/close on the vent. Even if it would just automatically close when the thing is finished running, that would be enough. But, for the price you can't beat it.

Best money i've spend on my fillaments
An absolute marvel, like everything 3d printer you need a few things to make it work beautifuly it needs a stronger hinge and a way to support the lid as it it's a lot heavier than the regular AMS, and i wish there Exhaust port was automatic, the screen cannot be just let on so you can monitor temperature and RH which is a bummer but when it comes to drying it does it work perfectly, it's easy to install and keeps a good seal to keep the dry fillaments dry for longer, really a great thing to improve your ams

Brings dryer functionality to the Gen 1 AMS - must have upgrade
For those of us on the original Gen 1 AMS, this is a welcome upgrade. The newer AMS has built-in drying and now we can get that functionality too. Installation is easy, maybe 20 minutes, and it requires no permanent modifications to the AMS. It even comes with a long hex wrench. Best part is it works while you're printing, so there's no downtime waiting for filament to dry. Nice added benefit is that it actually dries my dessicant too. Just select your preset, let it run, filament is dry, everyone's happy. My only gripe is the vent could be bigger and ideally there would be a a small fan to actively exhaust the warm, moist air out. It works without it, but that would make it even better. Still, this beats having a separate standalone filament dryer sitting next to your printer. Much cleaner setup.
