  • Perfect Fit and Easy Install – A Must-Have AMS Upgrade!
Easy to install and works great! The heaters fit perfectly on both of my AMS units and came well-packaged with extra screws and hinges. The included manual was clear and easy to follow, and the built-in display makes it simple to monitor temperature (°C) and humidity levels. Filament stays dry and prints have been more consistent since installing these. Great value for the money and an awesome alternative to upgrading to the AMS 2. I love seeing products like this that extend the life of existing hardware instead of sending it to e-waste. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • So glad I saved my money rather than upgrading to the AMS 2
Got these to go with my AMS Gen-1 rather than upgrading all of them to Gen-2, well worth the cost and definitely money saving. Also, allows for printing and drying at the same time which the current AMS Gen-2 set up does not allow for. Set up is super simple and took next to no time at all. Improved filament quality by lowering the moisture content and functions beautifully. Have not had a single issue with tangles and color quality is fabulous. Has not made the AMS bigger, but has changed the curved dynamic to a more boxed look. ... show more

  • Great Upgrade for the Bambu Lab AMS 1 — Works Perfectly
I originally bought a similar AMS filament heater from a different seller, and I’m pretty sure it was defective because it kept causing problems with my AMS. I decided to give this Sunlu version a try, and I’m really glad I did. This one has been working flawlessly. It fits perfectly on top of the Bambu Lab AMS to replace the hinged lid, and it does a fantastic job keeping my filament dry. Since installing it, my prints have been more consistent, and I haven’t had any of the issues I experienced with the other heater. The only suggestion I have is to find a way to make the screws easier to get in without turning the AMS upside down. Overall, I’m very satisfied. Solid build, great performance, and absolutely worth it if you want to keep moisture-sensitive filaments in great shape. Highly recommend! ... show more

  • worth the investment
This is exactly what I have needed for a long time, east Texas is HUMID even with desiccant in my ams1 it have to change it out every week or so but with this I've maintained sub 20% humidity consistently for over a week now and saved a fortune in comparison to buying the AMS2 pro. my only critique is that I've had to move my printer even further from the wall because it's so bulky and you can't really see through the window all that well. It's super easy to install and works great ... show more

  • Amazing upgrade for AMS1
The AMS2 went up in price, this was a no brainer. Easy to use, straight forward, does the job. Great product

  • Works great but has a slight fan whine
I really like this filament dryer. The installation and setup was very straightforward and it does exactly what it's supposed to do in a simple way. The build quality is good and it fit my AMS perfectly. My only real complaint is that it is noisier that I expected, specifically that it has a fan whine. I have used small blower fans in other projects and have not had any that whine at this particular frequency. It could be the fan itself or maybe the way SUNLU implemented the PWM speed controller. I originally thought I might have received a defective unit but after watching several review videos both on Amazon and YouTube, I'm not as sure. I could clearly hear the same fan whine in videos where the reviewer gave it great marks for its quietness. I assume they either didn't hear it or it didn't bother them. Others have reported vibrational sounds but I haven't heard that at all. Because the sound is not particularly loud and since I'm happy with the unit otherwise, I can live with that minor annoyance. I would advise anyone who is sound-sensitive to check out some of the video reviews and listen for the fan sound to see if it would bother you. ... show more

  • Better combo than the AMS2 alone with more functionality.
I bought this to go with my new Bambu Lab P1S Combo which comes with the original AMS unit. The AMS2 wasn't shipping yet and I'm glad I ended up buying the original with this add-on. It dries while you print or have filament loaded while the AMS2 wants the spools unloaded so it can roll them. This MAY dry more evenly, but my AMS is always fully loaded and ready to print. The valve to open/close the chamber before/after a drying session is manual. I really wish it was automatic as I always forget to close it when the time comes. The built in humidity sensor only goes down to 20% RH. I have some cheap aftermarket hydrometers in the AMS that read down to 10% and are pretty much permanently stuck at 10%. The AMS has a hydrometer you can check from Bambu Studio that gives a letter grade from A-F. Before I purchased this I was at a B or C depending on the day. Now I'm a solid A everyday. You may debate if this addition is worth even using. Most people say PLA isn't very sensitive to moisture and PETG is only moderately so. I decided to maximize my chances. It makes me feel secure when I start those long prints that they'll turn out as intended ... show more
