⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My Bambu A1 AMS Lite Is Eating This Filament for Breakfast (and Asking for More) I did not expect to be this impressed… but here we are. I picked up the SUNLU 4kg PLA bundle (4×1kg White spools) mainly because the value was too good to ignore, and wow, this stuff absolutely delivers. Huge savings compared to buying single spools, and honestly? I’m already planning my next 4-pack in different colors because my printer refuses to stop printing. I’m running this on a Bambu A1 with AMS Lite Combo, and the compatibility has been flawless. The filament feeds cleanly through the AMS Lite with zero binding, zero tangles, and no drama (which already earns points in my book). The spools are neatly wound, evenly layered, and perfectly sized—AMS friendly right out of the box. Print Quality (aka: Chef’s Kiss) • Dimensional accuracy is legit – tolerances feel tight and consistent across long prints • No under-extrusion or surprise blobs • Smooth top layers, clean walls, and crisp details • Bridges better than expected for PLA • Layer adhesion is solid even on faster Bambu profiles I’ve run this filament on default Bambu PLA profiles, slightly tweaked temps, and even some faster speed tests, and it just keeps up. No clogging, no snapping, no weird moisture issues thanks to the excellent vacuum packaging (each spool came sealed and dry). The Value Is the Real Star Let’s talk about the 4kg bundle for a second. This is where SUNLU wins hard. If you’re printing functional parts, organizers, test prints, or just going full maker-mode like I am, this pack is an absolute steal. I’ve gone through an embarrassing amount already, and the consistency from spool to spool has been spot on. Final Verdict If you: • Own a Bambu A1 / AMS Lite • Print a lot • Like saving money • And want filament that just works …this is an easy 5 stars. I’ve had good overall results with this SUNLU filament. Print quality has been consistent, layer adhesion is good, and I haven’t had any actual print failures using it. The only downside I’ve noticed is a bit of stringing, mostly during purge/flushing moves or when the print head travels between separate parts on the build plate. It seemed to happen most often toward the middle of a row of prints. It didn’t ruin any prints, but the excess purge filament occasionally built up and clogged the chute in the back, preventing the purge material from falling through properly and causing a pile-up. That said, it’s been very manageable and hasn’t affected the final parts themselves. With minor tuning or more frequent chute checks, it’s not a deal-breaker. Overall, this is a good filament for the price, and I’d still recommend it, especially if you’re already familiar with dialing in retraction and purge settings.
