Am new to 3D printing and I find this filament excellent. Compared to PLA it is very strong and far less brittle. Top surfaces also finish more finely with the same (.04 mm) nozzle as compared to PLA. Am using a Bambu A1 which now has filament profiles for this an other Sunlu filaments. As an experiment, I printed a small yet detailed small part using both "generic PETG" and "Sunlu PETG" filament presets. In my opinion, the Sunlu preset resulted in a more finely finished product. Print time [seems] to increase by about a third compared to PLA. It adheres very strongly to a textured plate even after it has cooled. My first pieces using this filament are an interlocking and adjustable assembly of my own design. I had to adjust tolerances slightly compared to PLA due to improved dimensional accuracy of the finished product. Addendum: While perhaps a general PETG problem in an open frame machine I find it impossible for use in a multi-color object of even modest size with a wipe tower because the color switch time is so long that the layers do not adhere and you wind up with a fragile slinky around an unconnected core. My results without the wipe tower and adjustments to produce the quickest possible filament change produced a very strong, 100% infill object but the deeply embedded 0.8 mm thick transparent yellow adjustment hash lines in an otherwise black piece were not clear enough to justify the wildly increased production time.

I’m fairly new to 3D printing, so I was a bit hesitant to buy brands other than Bambu Lab for my AMS and P1S. I wanted a PETG that would be easy to reorder and consistent in quality, and this one absolutely delivered. I used the grey it to make my AMS Riser V2 for my P1S and the burnt titanium (really recommend both colors). The results were strong, precise, and solid, with some areas so rigid they don’t even flex. The filament printed smoothly and was very easy to work with — no tangles, consistent diameter, and excellent adhesion. It’s definitely going to be one of my go-to PETG options from now on. If I could give 6 stars I would!

Red, White, and WOW! Perfect for Patriotic Prints This SUNLU Patriotic PETG Filament Pack is absolutely awesome! The red, white, and blue spools are vibrant, consistent, and print like a dream. I bought this pack specifically for 4th of July decorations and flag-themed projects, and it totally delivered. The colors are bold and true — the red is rich, the blue is deep and crisp, and the white is clean with no yellowing or streaks. I’ve printed everything from coasters to mini statues to flag-themed keychains, and they all came out looking fantastic. Even multicolor prints layered with different spools turned out beautifully. As for printability — this PETG prints smooth and strong. I ran it at 240°C with a 70°C bed on a glass surface, and adhesion was excellent. No warping, very little stringing, and strong layer bonding. It's a nice balance between the ease of PLA and the strength of PETG, without being overly finicky. Great for patriotic holidays, gifts, or any project where you want to show off the red, white, and blue. Plus, SUNLU’s quality control seems rock solid — no tangles, moisture issues, or odd filament behavior. Highly recommended if you want something festive that also prints like a pro!

The value is great for what is. The quality is 4 out of 5. Nice Prints most of the time but I do have 1st layer adhesive issues more of this vs Bambu labs or other brands. It's got glow/shine to it which I think it looks fine but to each their own. At first because of it being a brand new role I did have it pop off and get tangled twice but I think that was my fault. Works well with a one mini and ams lite. Easy and straightforward to use. Does as advertised and I'm overall happy with the value.

As usual from many vendors - this is not pure PETG but a mix with some additives that add easier handling. If the first layer is OK - it usually prints without issues with high speed. Bought this gray color specifically for this bender model and it went smooth.

worst i've used it still strings, but true not as much as some others. The spool is wrapped in such a way the filament it twisted up back under it self and you can hear it straining to peel it off the spool actually had a mess up in middle of test print where it was jammed so tight in edges of spoil the gear drive could not pull and feed it and the gears actuall chewed into the filament does it again and i am going to send the whole box of 4 back for refund and go back to other brands ive used. and i actually have a spoil holder the spoil is head perfectly center on two bearing mounted cones so it not a jerky feed like you get from a spoil just loaded on a shaft so issues are 100% the way their machine tightened the filament on the spoil causeing it to wrap over itself update wound way too tight this stuff is pure junk as you can see my spool hold is free wheel so it wont cause bind or jerking of filament, this stuff is horrid i wasted a large amount from spool to test print 220 all the way to 260 adhesion is moderate as long as it doent bind last two to are pieces i just wasted 20 hr of printing 240c nozzle 60 bed temp 30mm's, this stuff isnt even worth respoiling it for the amount of time to respoool then dry it again. and i'm not paying to ship it back so they can do 2 things refund my money and sens a call ticket for pic up or just refund the money which seeing the time i spent drying it which i did see humidity level in dryier went up as soon as went to dry this so there was moisture trapped in the filament plus baby sitting it until i decided to grab some sleep last night and the lost time printing with the cost of the electricity consumed to print. i might be abkle to cut sections of a few meters off tese spoil to use for test printing to check level of beds and make little trinkets but other then that not worth the time. added one more photo this is what deal with due to this so tight wrapped on spool that is a hard creased kink in the filament
