I am equally satisfied with both the print quality and the strength of the material. The finished prints are clean and neat, with virtually no stringing or overspill, and the surface finish is uniform. Throughout the entire process, there were no issues such as nozzle clogs, filament breaks, or inconsistent extrusion. The material exhibits excellent bed adhesion and interlayer bonding, resulting in parts with good toughness—they are not brittle and are resistant to breaking. Given this level of quality, the price is very competitive. After comparing it in actual use, I believe it is on par with the original filament I’ve used before—equally excellent. I’ve been using SUNLU PLA Beige specifically for skin-color 3D prints, and it works great. The color is very natural and consistent, making it perfect for figures, models, and detailed parts without needing much post-processing or painting. Print quality is solid—smooth extrusion, good layer adhesion, and minimal stringing. It feeds well with no tangling, and I’ve had reliable results on longer prints. The media could not be loaded. This has been a great experience so far. I’ve been running Sunlu Black PLA on my Bambu Lab P2S with the AMS2 Pro, and it feeds flawlessly through the AMS without any issues. The spool arrived tightly vacuum sealed, and through the first half of the roll I haven’t encountered a single tangle. Print performance has been equally solid. Bed adhesion is excellent on both a smooth PEO plate and a textured PEI plate—no lifting or inconsistencies. Layer adhesion is strong, and the finished prints have a clean, consistent surface with a really nice overall finish. I’ve be included a time-lapse and a couple of photos of a paper towel holder I printed with this filament. It turned out exactly how I hoped—clean lines, solid structure, and a great final appearance. I haven’t finished the full spool yet, but based on the first half, this is a very dependable PLA that performs exactly as expected. If consistency, ease of use, and solid print quality matter to you, this is an easy recommendation. I’d absolutely buy this again.

I picked up this SUNLU PLA in brown for a few functional and decorative prints, and it has been excellent so far. The brown color is rich and even throughout the spool, giving finished prints a really nice clean look that works especially well for wood-style designs, organizers, and display pieces. The filament was neatly wound exactly as advertised, which made loading and long print jobs stress-free. I’ve run several multi-hour prints with it and haven’t had any tangling or feeding issues at all. The diameter consistency also seems very good since extrusion has been smooth and layers come out nice and even. Print quality has been impressive with strong layer adhesion and crisp detail. I was able to get clean edges and smooth surfaces using my normal PLA settings without needing much adjustment. Bed adhesion was solid, and I experienced very little warping. Overall, this is a dependable everyday PLA filament at a great price. I’ll definitely continue buying SUNLU for future projects.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been running this Sunlu PLA through a few projects lately, and overall, it’s a solid filament with a beautiful finish. If you’re looking for a red that actually "pops" without looking like a dull crayon, this is a great choice. Color and Finish The Red is spot on. It has a deep, rich pigment that holds up well across layers. I used it for some detailed miniatures and a few functional shop organizers, and the surface finish is consistently smooth with a nice, subtle sheen. Printability & Adhesion I didn't have any issues with bed adhesion. It lays down a very clean first layer at 210° (my personal sweet spot for this brand) and I haven't seen any warping or lifting on larger flat prints. The spooling was neat, and I didn't encounter any tangles or crossovers during long 12+ hour prints. Why 4 Stars? (The Stringing) The only reason I’m knocking off a star is that this specific batch was slightly "stringy" compared to other PLAs I’ve used. Even after drying the filament (which helped a bit), I had to spend more time than usual dialling in my retraction settings to minimize the wisps between travel moves. It’s nothing a quick pass with a heat gun won't fix, but it's something to be aware of if you're printing complex geometries with a lot of jumps. Final Verdict A very reliable filament with a top-tier color. It’s a great workhorse PLA, provided you’re willing to spend a few minutes fine-tuning your slicer profile to handle the minor stringing.

As PLA goes it isn't the best, but that's more to do with being a translucent filament rather than being poorly formulated. It prints at normal temperatures, isn't brittle, doesn't clog (which suggests good dimensional accuracy which you would expect from a Sunlu labelled filament. Not inclined to tangle and looks good. Note that transparent PLA is notorious for being prone to hair. You have to fuss with parameters for best results. I've used it for desiccant jars i place in the hub of filament spools as it lets me see the degree of moisture absorption in the filaments. Like all PLA it is NOT very impact resistant, especially if your print is mostly lattice work (gotta have air circulation which means weak walls.)
