Between 2 girls, it took us 4.5 hours to put together. We had to re-do a couple steps because the directions weren’t entirely clear. I got this bed for my younger sister who is coming to live with me and she’s a pretty light girl, but it’s still extremely wobbly under her weight. It’s supposed to be able to secure to the wall but the brackets are really far from the wall because of the baseboards, so I’m not sure we’ll be able to secure it but the sturdiness may be better once we do that. I live in an apartment so removing the baseboards isn’t an option. Overall it’s not too bad, I’d say it’s overpriced for the quality you get. I got this one specifically because we needed space to put our dog’s crate, and we wanted the desk for my sister’s PC. It should work just fine, but I wouldn’t buy it again nor 100% recommend it. I wish it were sturdier and that it had been less complicated to put together. Even with my boyfriend’s help occasionally it was difficult. ... show more
