The Gazebo itself looked great when first put up. Assembly was pretty easy, but I needed extra people when putting it up. One thing I did not expect was the height of the unit, which is much higher than my previous gazebo. I suspected this would make it more difficult to take down the top down for the winter or in the event of an impending storm. Based on previous experience I had with another gazebo for about 8 years, I assumed I would have to replace the top periodically (every 2 years or so). The other day was a windy day, on weather.gov the maximum windspeed was 29MPH and gusts of 44MPH. This is not a case where I would have taken down my previous gazebo top. I saw today that on the top tier, the canopy frame ripped through the canvas flap that keeps the canopy tight and holds it on. I am very disappointed that the canopy ripped because it has been such a short time since I put it up. I was hoping on some of the other poor reviews I saw on Amazon that there may have been an installation issue. I then called the phone number on the amazon support page and was pleasantly surprised that someone answered my call after 5PM Eastern time on a Saturday. I gave them my information, and they said they would e-mail me a form to fill out. I am concerned how this will hold up over time if it is already having failures.

We expanded our patio & created a great backyard space to enjoy for the summer since we will not be vacationing due to COVID-19. The item was delivered earlier than promised, which was great! The gazebo was easy to assemble. We needed at least 3 people to complete the setup. I'm not very tall so my husband had to solicit help from 2 additional people for the canopy. The instructions were very easy to follow. You will need to have something to weigh down your gazebo. The legs are pretty thick so we opted to use decorative flower pots filled with sand, potting soil, and flowers. We have about 65 LBS per leg (260 lbs total) weighing down the gazebo. We have had our gazebo up for about a month. I wanted to endure a couple of rainstorms before writing my review. We have not had any problems so far. We are very pleased & at this time, I would recommend this product.

We needed two and sometimes three adults to put this together, and we've done many projects like this before. The directions are not super clear and some of the parts are cheap quality. The metal frame bends very easily, so be careful when you're assembling. The screw that holds the finial onto the top assembly snapped (it was hollow) and after four or five phone calls and emails with the company to try to get replacements parts with no success, we just retapped the holes and used a machine screw with the head cut off to assemble it. One of the clips for the top assembly was stuck in the wrong place inside the tube and therefore couldn't click into place to hold it onto the top. The fit was tight, so we're hoping it holds without that last clip. The reps on the phone said that the replacement parts could only come from the warehouse in China, if they were available. Dealing with them was super frustrating and equaled zero customer service, we are still waiting to hear back on the parts we requested. So, buyer beware on that front. I'd go for something a little more well-made for the price. Once we finally got this assembled, it's worked well to cut down on mosquitoes when we want to sit in the yard. It's waterproof for a light rain, but anything heavier and you'll get rain inside. Fortunately, only the frame was up when Isaias blew through and it survived well. Not so sure that would have been the case if the top was on. We did buy the weights for the corners since it's sitting on our cement patio. They seem to be holding it in place for normal Northeast summer weather.

When the package arrived, it was obvious that it had been repackaged. The box was beaten up and taped over. When I opened the box several of the leg pieces were bent. When I unpacked the parts I found a return authorization from a previous customer. The company replied to my email two weeks later. I had by then already put the canopy together repairing the parts that were bent and one that was manufactured misaligned. Erecting the canopy was very easy. Execpt for the repairs no tools were necessary. The parts were very well marked which made following the instruction easy. The fabric is a little on the light side. Because it is a snap pin assembly it is not a ridged unit until the fabric is installed. I will probably treat the fabric to make it last longer. Overall I am happy with the canopy.

This was a replacement for previous gazebo damaged from early snow fall (shame on me for not taking off canopy in time!). This is the same dimensions but completely different frame as the previous one. VERY flimsy in comparison. Assembly was much easier than previous frames but less screws contributes to the flimsiness. The canopy did not fit onto the frame. I hade to cut ~ 1" off three poles where the canopy fit into to get the canopy on. The canopy is NOT water proof. It leaks straight through the seems of the top. SunJoy has better products. I would avoid the "Pendleton" line and research alternatives. This is most likely a one-season-wonder. Something new next year for sure.
