I actually like it use as a "cabana" I'm too lazy to break down with every use , so I just bring the legs in so in can push it down to ground. Which makes it too low to get caught up in the wind and it's low enough for me to brush rain water off roof so won't cave in. Really nice! Looks great in the backyard. But there’s a few things to note when an instruction manual tells you you need two people don’t be like my hardheaded self and say who needs a man and then commit to struggling for over an hour just to get it lifted! Because WHEW!!! But overall this is nice I do see there being an issue with the legs as they don’t seem as sturdy as it could be but for what I plan to use it for it’s nice!! I did have a closure that was coming apart and the material isn’t the best either ... show more

I caught a good deal on this tent ($110) but it arrived stained. There were several spots that were brown on the roof of the canopy tent that didnt even wash away after the rain. After the hassle of unpacking everything, I decided to just keep the tent despite the stains. Well putting the tent UP was a whole annoying disaster and the instructions werent much help to get the roof part fully extended. Alas, my son and and I got it handled and we enjoyed a bug-free refuge in our yard…until one day I looked outside and the whole tent was blown down and the rods were snapped. It was barely even windy! Well that was enough for me to ship it back. I received a replacement and havent even bothered to open it yet. I hope everything is in tact so that I can use it next summer. ... show more

I read the reviews and the negative reviews were all from people leaving the tent up for multiple days.. This is a tent you put away after use. It even said that in the instructions. If you wanted a tent for permanent use outside I would recommend getting a gazebo that is meant for weather situations. It's perfectly fine how it is. Works well and can be put up and taken down by myself. It's big when open. When packed away it doesn't take up much space. That's super good when you have a small car like I do. It fits nicely across my back seats. It also fits perfectly in it's carry bag with space to spare. I did not have to fight with it to get it into the bag which is super great! ... show more

It’s definitely not a permanent structure and I don’t think it would survive a bad thunderstorm. Makes sense as it is a poop up and was inexpensive. That said I think it looks nice and elegant and could def be good for when we have outdoor parties. My one complaint is the white canopy arrived with some kind of reddish stains. Bought this product as a temporary tent on a recent camping trip. It arrived quick enough and I started to assemble it. Quickly realized that many of the tabs and Velcro were not seen into the wall panels well as the kept falling out or pulling out the avant stitching. The zippers were not the best quality and would benefit from some sort of tensioner in order to keep the sides pulled hot while unzipping or zipping. Rain resistance was a bit lacking as well. A fair bit wicked or splashed through the roof or dropped off the rafters Some of these limitations can be worked on, and the price was low enough that I should have expected it, but I was hoping to find a diamond in the rough. ... show more

I am very excited about putting this up in my yard. I didn't feel the poles were as sturdy fully extended, so I didn't extend them to the full height. I purchased 2 12x9 rugs to put underneath and was quite surprised when the legs stood out on each side beyond the rugs. I'm not feeling those grommet holes in the canopy. I assume they're for ventilation but I live in Maine and we have tiny angry bitey bugs and they WILL find those holes so I think I'll be taping those over. I fully intend to leave this in the yard until mid to late October or maybe even early November. If it doesn't survive to then, I will update my review! Update: Well, we had a nice, rugged wind storm and she took off like a kite in early November. I don't actually know, I wasn't there to see it but I hear it was bad. She didn't make it. I may still make an attempt at putting it up but I'm not expecting much. I will say that I feel I got my money's worth over the whole summer. I'm not disappointed. It's my fault for not taking it down right after Halloween. I know better. ... show more

The ties were cheaply sewn not durable so they just rip off with just a gentle tug. Wish they had clips instead. Other then that loved the space it created and kept a cool shade also love that it had zippers all around
