these almost weigh nothing which made the easy install even better. when they're off, you can't even tell which tiles are the lights vs my ceiling tiles (my tiles are solid white no texture). they are beautiful. for the price, quality, and easy install I highly recommend them and would buy them again if ever needed. ... show more

I hate fluorescent lights but they came with the house so I was stuck until there was an alternative that fit in the same space. This is the first set I've found for a reasonable price, so far they are pretty great. The brightest of the settings looks bright enough for surgery, I toned them down for the basement, and they are still brighter than the fluorescents. We'll see about durability but so far so good. The worst part was getting the old fixtures out of the drop ceiling. Once that was done, it was a simple matter of connecting hot, neutral, and ground. I just installed four of the six and they look great. I thought I'd need all six since they are for a basement room but these are so bright I didn't need the others. They're nice, thin, and lightweight. Installation was easy except for getting the wires all tucked back in the box behind the light. I didn't hook up the dimmer because I didn't have what I needed, maybe in the future. I didn't find any instructions though I haven't pulled the last two out yet. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them again if needed. I sure hope they last! ... show more
